Eclipses have their own importance in the world of Sadhanas. It is a fact that a lot of things are prohibited during eclipse like eating food. The reason behind this is the energy around us during eclipse is harmful & if we consume something then it would bring harm to us. However, it is also a fact that even venom sometimes act as elixir & can provide life instead of death. Thus, even though scientifically eclipse is not a good period, it is one of the greatest times that is most rewarding for performing Sadhanas.
Just a few mantra recitation during eclipse period is equal to one lakh mantra recitation during any normal time. Hence, the mantra recitation performed during eclipse period is many folds more rewarding.
Considering this fact in mind, if any Sadhana is performed during eclipse then the results obtained is many times more as compared to doing the same Sadhana on any other normal day.
The significance of auspicious time can be inferred from this very fact that our ancient sages have written a lot of texts on time calculations. Not only this, we can easily find that eclipses were important in the life of some of the great incarnations. Lord Ram got initiated by His Guru Vishwamitra during the eclipse. Lord Krishna got initiated by His Guru Sandeepan during eclipse phase only. Their Guru chose to initiate them during eclipse duration because such divine energy can only be completely assimilated during eclipse. It is only because of this reason that Sadhaks are encouraged to perform Sadhanas & get initiated with Dikshas during eclipse duration.
There are several wishes in the life of a human being. An auspicious time like eclipse can fulfill any wish related to money, position, fame, prosperity, Kundalini activation, completeness, charm & everything else which we wish to attain in life. Get in a yellow cloth & sit facing North. Take a wooden plank & cover it with yellow cloth. Place all the articles on the plank & worship the Yantra & the Goddess with vermillion, unbroken rice grains, flowers etc. Next wear the Manokaamana Siddhi Yantra around your neck & chant 11 rounds of the following mantra.
