Kuber is said to be the Lord of all the treasures that exists on this planet. Not just this, he even rules over the riches that are buried inside the earth. He is primarily worshiped and propitiated for quick financial gains, unexpected gain of money through lotteries etc, and for a prosperous business. Even Lord Vishnu believes Kuber to be the basis of gaining unlimited wealth and prosperity.
Ravan, the great Tantrik, took help from Kuber when he wished to create a city of gold, also known as Lanka. In fact, Kuber was the true owner of Lanka and the magnificent city came into existence due to his powers. Kuber was in fact the brother of Ravan who from his early childhood started to worship Lord Brahma. Lord Brahma got appeased by his penance and granted him to become the ruler of all the wealth of this universe.
All ancient texts highly recommends Kuber Sadhanas for sudden financial gains. In fact, several texts states that true and lasting prosperity is possible only through the grace of Lord Kuber. There are mainly three advantages of performing Kuber Sadhanas:
It might well seem to be a simple and short Sadhana, but its effect is amazing. All one needs is to perform this Sadhana with full dedication and faith. One can even try this Sadhana with spouse.
Sadhana Procedure:
One needs Kuber Yantra, four Maha Lakshmi Phals and a Kuber rosary. The most auspicious day to perform this Sadhana is Dhan Trayodashi, however, this Sadhana can also be tried on any moonless night or on any Sunday. This Sadhana must be performed during early morning.
Get up early well before sun rise and take a bath. Get into fresh yellow clothes and sit on a yellow mat facing north direction. Take a wooden plank and cover it too with fresh yellow cloth. Place a picture of Gurudev and worship Him with vermillion, rice grains, flowers etc. Light an oil lamp and an incense stick. Then chant one round of Guru Mantra with the crystal rosary and pray to Gurudev for success in Sadhana.
Now keep a plate in front of Gurudev’s picture and make a mound of rice grain on it. Place Kuber Yantra on top of the mound and then put the four Maha Lakshmi Phals around the yantra.
Next take another plate and make the following yantra with vermillion. Place this plate on the right side of the plate containing the yantra.
Now pray to Lord Ganpati and chant Om Gam Ganapataye Namah five times. Next pray to Lord Kuber to remove poverty and bring prosperity, wealth and happiness in your life. Thereafter chant 8 rounds of the below mantra with kuber rosary.
Light a holy fire and offer ghee into it 108 times chanting the above mantra. Tie all the sadhana articles in the yellow cloth and keep it at the place where you keep your valuables. This completes the Sadhana procedure and ensures Lord Kuber permanently stays in your home.
Repeating this ritual on the moonless nights falling during all the months of the year ascertain that no shortcomings can remain in life of such a sadhak for the entire life. The cycle gets completed on the next Dhan Trayodashi.
