Within the Ten Mahavidhyas, Goddess Tripur Bhairavi is placed at the sixth position. Performing Her sadhana showers name, fame, beauty & prosperity on to the sadhak. The name Bhairavi comprises three words: Bha, Ra, & Va. Bha means Bharanam i.e. creativity, Ra means Ramanam i.e. preservation, & Va means Vamanam i.e. annihilation. In one word, the Goddess is the creator, preserver & the destroyer of this universe.
The meditation mantra associated to the Goddess in the Devi Mahatmya describes Her form. She has been considered as a form of Goddess Kali. In all the sacred texts, Goddess Tripura Bhairavi is presented as radiating more powerfully than a thousand suns together. Her face is as beautiful as a lotus flower & Her expression is kind, happy & smiling. She has Her neck. In two of her four hands, She holds a rosary & a book, and with the two remaining hands She performs the gestures of knowledge & the gesture of granting spiritual gifts & power. She observes Abhaya mudra, the gesture of casting away the fear.
As per Puranas, Prajapati Daksha organized the holy sacrifice & didn’t invite Lord Shiva & Goddess Sati. This made Goddess Sati extremely angry & She decided to go to the holy sacrifice even without the invitation. She became enraged & looking at Her fierce form, Lord Shiva tried to escape the place. At that very moment, the Ten Mahavidhyas emerged out of the body of Goddess & blocked Lord Shiva in all the ten directions.
It was Goddess Tripur Bhairavi which blocked South direction. The fifth power, Goddess Chhinnamasta is associated with complete demolition whereas Goddess Tripur Bhairavi is associated with the demolition happening at every moment. Everything around us is getting destroyed & this demolition is the task of Lord Shiva. Thus, Goddess Tripur Bhairavi is the power which helps Lord Shiva to perform his activity.Goddess Rajrajeshwari preserves all the good things of the three world & Goddess Tripur Bhairavi destroys all the bad things of the three world.
She helps in overcoming all the obstacles of life & directs Her devotees on to the path of success. She is also known as Bhava Bandhan Mochani, one who removes all the obstacles. It is believed that the Goddess enters the heart of the devotees who worships Her with full devotion, faith & dedication. One can easily appease the Goddess by worshipping Her & chanting Her mantras with full devotion & love.
A sadhak is blessed with following attributes after successfully performing the sadhana of Goddess Tripur Bhairavi bestows the sadhak with an outstanding transformation in the personality. The sadhak becomes as attractive and beautiful as Kamdev.
Anyone who come in the contact of such an accomplished sadhak, is bound to get attracted towards him and willingly starts to follow the commands. This sadhana procedure is extremely useful to make oneself beautiful, to make this entire world favorable and even an impotent person can become potent after performing Her sadhana.
One needs Tripur Bhairavi Yantra, Tripur Bhairavi rosary & TriShakti Gutika for this sadhana procedure. This sadhana must be performed early in the morning. The best day to perform this sadhana procedure is on Tripur Bhairavi Jayanti, however, it can also be started from any Tuesday or on the third day of any bright phase of lunar month. One must wear pink clothes & use pink mat for this sadhana.
Take a bath & sit on a mat facing north. Take a wooden plank & cover it too with a fresh pink cloth. Place a picture of revered SadGurudev & worship Him with vermillion, rice grains, flowers etc. Light an oil lamp & an incense stick. Then chant one round of Guru Mantra & pray to Gurudev for success in sadhana.
Next place a copper plate in front of Gurudev’s picture & put the yantra into it. Worship the yantra with water, vermillion, rice grains etc. Make a mark with vermillion on your forehead too. Place the TriShakti Gutika in front of the yantra & worship it as mentioned above. Next take the rosary & chant 11 rounds of the below mantra.
Offer some sweet food to the yantra made with milk after the mantra chanting & consume it yourself. Drop the yantra & Gutika in a river or pond the next day and keep the rosary at a safe place. Repeat the procedure by just chanting 11 rounds of the mantra before Gurudev’s picture with Tripur Bhairavi rosary for two more times (on the third day of bright phase of lunar month in next two months) appeases the Goddess completely & She remains favorable for the sadhak for the entire life. For best results, the sadhak must get initiated with Tripur Bhairavi Diksha & continue to chant 1 round of above mantra daily.
