Goddess Matangi is one of the ten Mahavidhyas and appeasing Her can bring prosperity, beauty and a blessed family life. This year, both Akshay Tritiya and Matangi Jayanti are falling on the same day, making it more effective to gain the blessings of the Mother Goddess. We present below two sadhanas related to Mother Goddess which should be tried on this auspicious day.
The power that drives this complete universe is none other than Bhagwati Matangi. Being the wife of Lord Shiva, whose one form is also known as Matang, the Goddess is also called Matangi, meaning wife of Matang. Obtaining Goddess Bhagwati Matangi’s sadhana in the form of Gauri Lakshmi is a sign of good luck and prosperity in life. Sage Vishwamitra has mentioned, “All the powers of the remaining nine Mahavidhyas are assimilated within Goddess Matangi. If a person just performs Matangi Sadhana and doesn’t accomplish any other sadhana, still the sadhak can achieve everything in life.” This is the prime reason why Matangi Sadhana is considered as the eternal source of this Universe.

The above verse means that Matangi sadhana is the only sadhana which can fulfill all the wishes. This sadhana is a boon to fulfill all the wishes associated with the different phases of a human life. Accomplishing this sadhana can help the sadhak attain fulfillment in both the planes, worldly as well as spiritual. However, the below sadhana is especially performed to get all the worldly pleasures in life.
This sadhana is widely acclaimed to provide sadhak with all the household pleasures. Accomplishing this, even the most bitter relationship between husband and wife can be revived and relationship with relatives be made better. The sadhak is bestowed with all the worldly pleasures like son, daughter, good health, fame, etc. which are considered as essential parts of a successful householder.
This sadhana is equally effective to gain beauty, youthfulness, joys and to obtaining hypnotic powers in life. The sadhak becomes noticeably beautiful and everyone gets attracted towards him. He gets all the material pleasures in life. Health, age, money, house, vehicles and everything else is bestowed upon her accomplished sadhak by Goddess Matangi.
One needs Ras Saundarya Praneet Matangi Yantra and Sarva Sammohaka Matangi Mala for the sadhana. Have a bath early in the morning and worship Ganpati and Guru as per the procedures mentioned in “Dainik Sadhana Vidhi”. Sit facing south. First take “Ras Saundarya Praneet Matangi Yantra” and bathe it with water. Now wipe clean the yantra and put it in a copper plate. Worship the yantra with vermillion and light a ghee lamp and incense stick.
Now join both hands and pray to the Goddess
Shyaamaangi Shashishekharaam trinayanaam ratna sinhaasan,
Sthitataam Vedairbaahu Dandairsikhetaka Paashaamkushaa,
Dhraam Nanaratnaa Vibhushitaam Trijagataam Dhaatreem Sphur,
Loochnaam Vande Sunder Padmapaadayugalaam Maatangi
Now chant 5 rounds of the below mantra with “Sarva Sammohaka Matangi Mala”

|| Om Hreem Kleem Hum Gauri Laxmi Maatangye Hreem Hum Porna Porna Sthapiyaami Phat Namaha ||
Perform Guru Aarti and Shiva Aarti after the completion of the sadhana. Drop all the sadhana articles in a river the next day. Goddess Gauri Lakshmi definitely blesses her sadhak and he enjoys all the worldly pleasures in his life.
All of us know the necessity of beauty in life. All of us wish to be beautiful and the number of beauty products in the market speaks clear about that. We all get attracted towards a beautiful person and wish to be as beautiful as him or her. However, it can’t be done by means of artificial cosmetic products, but we can get attractive and beautiful by performing the sadhana of Goddess Matangi.
One just needs Maatangi Yantra and Saundarya rosary for this sadhana. This sadhana must be started before 4 am. Wear a white cloth and sit on a white mat facing east. Cover a wooden plank with white cloth and place Maatangi Yantra on it. Worship the yantra with vermilion and rice grains. Light a ghee lamp and chant the following mantra for 40 minutes using the rosary.

Drop the yantra and rosary in a water body next day. This completes the sadhana procedure and soon the person starts witnessing the noticeable changes in him.
I am going to share a secret of my life which has been kept within my heart from last several years. This secret is about a special sadhana using which I have been able to overcome all the shortcomings of my life. This secret is about a special sadhana using which I have been able to eradicate poverty from my life. Today I am a highly successful person of this society, I own a big house, there is abundance of wealth in my home, I have a son and a daughter and everything around me speaks about my prosperity. However there was a phase in my life when I was in neck deep trouble.
I was around 25 years old at that time. I had a lean figure, was mentally weak and was facing financial crisis in life. It was the time when society and everyone around me were continuously attacking me. My business had failed tremendously, I was under huge loan, there was scarcity of food in my house, we had reached to that level of poverty where we were forced to wear torn clothes and almost everything of my house was kept on mortgage. I didn’t have the physical strength to relocate to some other location and start my new business. All my acquaintances had shut their doors for me and I was fed of daily quarrels at my home. These daily quarrels made me even more mentally weak.
No matter what task I took in my hand, I faced failure in it. Everyone started to think that I was lazy and useless. Society didn’t give me anything apart from curses, harsh words and demoralization in life. I was fed of listening to these words daily. I used to pray to God to take away my life instead of showing me such bad days. I was even tormented by the fact that my own family started to think that I was useless.
And finally, one day my patience deserted me and I started to think about committing suicide. I knew I was left with no other alternative in life. One day, I finally left the home leaving a letter that I am going to end my life and no one should come to search me. There was a river some 15 kms away from my home. I quietly left the letter in the wardrobe and walked towards the river. I went to a lonely location and jumped into the river.
However to my dismay, I didn’t drown in the river. When I gained consciousness, I found myself lying on a lonely river bank. I felt so frustrated with my fortune that it cheated me here too. I looked around the bank and found a small hut which was mostly covered by trees. I walked towards that hut and found a sage into deep mediation. I walked further towards him. He opened his eyes and said to me, “Come my child! Don’t be afraid. I know everything about you. I also know that how much you have been tormented by this society. You must stay here with me for some time.” Listening to his kind words, I started crying and felt into his feet.
I agreed to stay with him as I didn’t have any other alternative at that time. I stayed with the sage for next 10-15 days and served him whole heartedly. I used to wake up earlier than him, used to arrange for his daily needs, then I used to go to jungle to bring some dried sticks to cook food for him and used to sleep only after the sage.
He was extremely happy with my service. I didn’t have any problem staying with the sage, however I used to get sad whenever I thought about my family. The sage came to know about my situation and one day he called me and said, “I know you are worried about your family. It is also the right time for you to go back to your family now. However, before that, I am giving you a secret sadhana using which you will able to life a comfortable and respectful life in the society. You will be able to silence your criticizers by the grace of this sadhana. You will stand tall against this society who forced you to commit suicide by means of this sadhana. You should get up early tomorrow and perform this sadhana under my guidance.”
The next day, I performed the sadhana during Brahma Muhurt and as a positive outcome of the sadhana, I am living a highly satisfied life now. This sadhana is related to Goddess Matangi. She is the mother Goddess who removes all sorts of pains and poverty from the life of Her devotees and bestows all the worldly pleasures on them. This sadhana is called Hridayangam Matangi Sadhana. Goddess Matangi resides in the heart of such sadhak and bestows all the worldly pleasures on him.
As Goddess Matangi is among one of the Das MahaVidhyas, appeasing Her brings both materialistic pleasures and nirvana in the life of the sadhak. Her sadhana is considered as one of the best sadhanas. A person who has successfully performed this sadhana gets the benefits like good health, wealth and mental peace in life. And my life is such a bliss just because of this sadhana. This is one such sadhana which can transform the life of a person in one day only.
One needs Hridayangam Matangi Yantra, Hridayangam Matangi Gutika and Hridayangam Matangi rosary for this procedure. Take a bath early in the morning and get into fresh yellow clothes. Sit on a yellow mat facing North; take a wooden plank and cover it too with a yellow cloth. Now place a picture of Gurudev and worship Him with vermillion, rice grains, flower etc. Light an incense stick and a ghee lamp.
Now take a copper plate and place it before Gurudev’s picture. Place Hridayangam Matangi Yantra on this plate and worship it too with water, rice grains, vermillion, flowers etc. Now put Matangi Gutika below your mat and chant one round of Guru Mantra and seek His divine blessing for success in sadhana. Now pray to the Goddess for gaining success in the sadhana. Next chant the below mantra for 25 minutes with the Hridayangam Matangi rosary.

Drop all the sadhana articles in a river or pond after completing the sadhana procedure. This completes the sadhana procedure.
