I meditate on the great Empress, She is red in color and Her eyes are full of compassion, and holds the noose, the goad, the bow and the flowery arrow in Her hands. She is surrounded on all sides by powers such as AnimA for rays and She is the Self within me.
Goddess Lalita is considered the main Goddess and She is worshipped as such in the Tantra. This knowledge was so powerful, secret and amazing that even the Gurus were prohibited to share this secret with their son. Due to this reason, this Sadhana almost became extinct from society. Even though there are some temples of Goddess Lalita, yet this Sadhana was made as a mystery for the common people. The reason behind this act was that this Sadhana is so powerful that a normal Sadhak can’t withstand this power. In the olden days, when the disciples used to stay with their Guru in their ashrams, the Gurus used to slowly and steadily make them capable with the medium of Dikshas, so that when his disciple becomes eligible, he could perform this Sadhana and get success into it.
Goddess Lalitamba is described as –
She is extremely beautiful, has dark thick long hair with scent of Champak, Ashoka and Punnaga flowers, wears a musk mark on her forehead, has eyelids that appear as if they are the gate of the house of God of love, has eyes which were like fish playing in a beautiful crystal clear lake, has nose with studs which shines more than the stars, has ears with sun and moon as studs, having cheeks which were like mirror of the Padma raga, has beautiful rows of white teeth, She is chewing Thamboola with camphor and has a voice sweeter than the sound emanating from the Veena of Saraswati.

Gunateetananda, who devoted his entire life for Lalitamba Sadhana, found a unique way by which even a householder can perform this Sadhana with same ease as that done by an ascetic. Apart from that, there is no ill signs of performing this Sadhana in this way and the Sadhak can obtain success in all his tasks by the blessings of Goddess Lalitamba. The power of the Goddess is mainly divided into eigth forms like being protective, financially supportive, healer, enemy destroyer among few of those. Just placing the Lalitamba Yantra in ones house drives away the misfortunes from the house.

The way a child calls upon his mother whenever he is in trouble, such is the basic nature of this Sadhana. Through this Sadhana, a Sadhak call upon the Goddess like her child and the mother solves his problem.
Sadhana Procedure:
Have a bath and sit facing East wearing yellow clothes. To get even better results, it is recommended to put on a red cloth around your shoulders and sit facing south. In this Sadhan, a special Yantra is worshipped remembering the eight powers of the Goddess by marking eight dots on the Yantra with Ashtagandha. Now speak out the below lines –
We meditate on that Ambika, who has a body of the color of saffron, who has three graceful eyes, who has a jeweled crown, adorned by the moon, who always has a captivating smile, who has high and firm breasts, who has wine-filled cup made of precious stones, and reddish flowers in her hands, who forever is the ocean of peace, and who keeps her red holy feet on a jeweled platform.
The Sadhak should chant eleven rounds of the main mantra using “Shakti Sundari Mala”, a mantra related to this Yantra only.

Even though this is a one-day Sadhana, still it is highly recommended to chant 1 round of this mantra daily. If one performs the Sadhana in this way, the person is blessed with all the powers of Goddess Lalitamaba throughout the life. In fact, one must daily see this Yantra to spend a trouble-free day.
