Parshuram Jayanti: 25th April
Capture a divine attraction within yourself
This text mentions that the male beauty is defined by courage, knowledge, confidence, to be able to win over adverse situation etc. His physique should consist of long hands, broad shoulders, long and strong built, captivating eyes and along with all these a strong determination to face any difficult situation. He should possess such a mesmerizing physique to attract every woman towards him. Any man can obtain such a beauty performing this sadhana.
On the other hand this text also speaks highly about the feminine beauty. It mentions that a woman should possess the beauty which should be comparable to a fresh rose flower. She should have a slim and well-toned body, should possess a beautiful and attractive face, should have fair complexion, well shaped physique. Any man should forget everything just by a mere glimpse of such a woman and everyone gets urged to make such a person their life partner. All these are traits can be attained by a woman by accomplishing this Rati Kaamdev Sadhana.
Undoubtedly, most of us don’t pass these demarcation lines and thus we are left with lots of dissatisfaction in life. Every person wishes to have a beautiful partner and without any doubt, it is the basic desire of every one. However, it is also equally essential that both the partners should complement each other. If a man possesses many of the above mentioned traits and the woman doesn’t then the woman will always feel inferior and they won’t be able to have a happy life. The same is true if a woman possesses many of the traits of a beautiful woman but the man lags behind, then also dissatisfaction is bound to follow.
Kaamdev and Rati are symbols of man and woman beauty respectively. It is a blessing from the God to look beautiful. A life filled with beauty is considered as a beautiful life. Can we get attracted towards anything which is not beautiful? And a person lacking beauty is bound to get frustrated in life. The importance of beauty can be understood by this very fact that even Gods and Goddesses, Kinnars, Gandharvas etc. have performed sadhanas related to beauty to not only attain beauty but to attain a permanent beauty.
In the current world, the people have forgotten the meaning of true beauty. They are using artificial means to look beautiful. Women have started to use a lot of makeup to look what they are not. And even the men today are not far behind and it can be easily concluded by the presence of hundreds of cosmetic items available for the men in the market today. All this proves that there is a huge necessity to look beautiful to live a contented life. However, it is also true that these means are superficial. The moment a person washes the face, the true appearance of that person appears before everyone. We can easily see the difference in the appearance of various actresses and actors with and without make up.
Another popular means in today’s world is plastic surgery. People nowadays are going for plastic surgeries to look better than what they look today. Apart from being very costly, it is also not hundred percent successful. There are several known cases where these surgeries have deformed the appearance of the individuals. And even if these surgeries may have resulted in a success, does that mean true beauty? Are all the good looking people living a happy life?
What is the use of such a beauty which doesn’t bring happiness to our soul? From inside we are all depressed, remain angry, detached from this world, our voice doesn’t bring a smile on other’s face. On one hand where a woman must look beautiful from her external appearance, she must also be soft, sweet and full of motherly attributes. Similarly, a must not only be good looking, he must have a charm on his face, should have a well-toned body, he must be calm and composed like a moon internally and should have a glow of a sun externally.
If you are also facing any such issue in life, then this sadhana is a boon for you. On one hand, it grants beauty to the person and on the other hand it brings positive feelings and a positive outlook towards life. The person starts feeling confident and thus changes his or her attitude towards life. Thus this sadhana can also be practiced by those individuals who have lost their hopes and desires in life, for whom life is a burden and for those who want to make the best out of their lives.
This sadhana has a very simple procedure. This sadhana can be tried by any person whether old or young, whether male or female, whosoever is desirous of attaining beauty in life. This sadhana must be stated from Parshuram Jayanti and is an eight day sadhana and just needs one hour to perform the daily procedures. It can be performed during day or night. If due to any reason, you are unable to start the sadhana from this day, you can start it from any Friday.
Take a bath and get in fresh clothes on the sadhana day. Female sadhika should keep their hair opened at their back and sit on a mat facing East. Then chant one round of Guru Mantra with Kaamdev Rati Rosary.
Thereafter take the Kaamdev Rati Yantra in a plate and bathe it with some water. Next clean and dry the yantra and worship it with some vermillion, flowers, rice grains etc. There is no need to light a lamp in this procedure, just light a fragrant incense stick.
Now take 11 flowers (preferably rose flowers) and offer them to the yantra one by one chanting the mantra below. Also offer some water to the yantra after offering each flower.

Wear the rosary around your neck and eat few petals of the rose flower as sacred food. Also drink some amount of the water offered to the yantra six times. Continue this procedure for the next 7 days. On the eight day after sadhana, wear the yantra around your neck or arm or your waist and drop the rosary in some river or pond.
