Human beings take birth each time in different forms, different religions, and different societies in every birth, with a new family and a new set of responsibilities every time, however an obligation, a relationship continues unabatedly across each birth, and that is the divine relationship between Guru-disciple. This is a merger of minds, which cannot be untied, a Sadhak may curse the Guru with all his might to achieve failure, but Guru continues to work towards the interest of the Sadhak at every moment. The Sadhak should always remember that Guru motivates him not to protect him from sufferings, but rather to face these sufferings. The problems will continue to emerge in this world in a different form at each second. We do not let our children drop out of school for fear of exams, but rather encourage them, love them, and even support them when they fail. Similarly the Guru is s always with his soulful disciples in the same form. He becomes extremely sad about the failures of his Sadhaks. He takes upon Himself all the sufferings of the seekers, all of their sins. Because parents just give birth, but Guru imparts a direction, energy, and meaning to that birth, and cultivates the life of His Sadhak with His penance and His Sadhana.
It is the duty of a Sadhak, of a disciple to always ensure to keep the divine consciousness of his Guru burning inside him. You may be in any area in your life – farming, trade, or profession, you should ensure to always keep the divine power of Guru burning alight within your self. On this auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, for yourself, for your soul, for the knowledge of your life, for every moment of life when you will be able to end all of your problems with the divine consciousness of your Guru, the divine power of your Guru.
To achieve this, you should take out a few moments of your day for the ritual prayer-worship of Guru, with full Vedic mantras, invoking all Gods-Goddesses, and imbibing your Guru within your mind. When a Sadhak perfectly-totally assimilates Guru within his mind, his prana, then he can face each adverse situation of life with full patience and wisdom.
Therefore, each Sadhak should definitely imbibe Guru Aatmikaya Diksha on this auspicious Guru Poornima on 24 July, for spiritual merger between Guru and disciple, and a permanent connection of Sadhak with his Guru.
