A person named Vikas descended from the mountains and ran towards the market shouting loudly – ” You all are engaged in your own work. Are you aware that God has died.” People started laughing. Have you lost your mind?
No one paid him any heed. People continued in their own tasks. So Vikas told himself that “It seems that the news has not reached them yet. But how is it possible? Did these people murder Him? And they still are now aware of this news.” Vikash further thought that it is quite possible that the priests may be aware of this incident because they are God’s representatives. He knocked at the doors of the temples, shook the priests, and said – “Listen, who are you worshiping? He is dead.” The priests said – “Get out. Do not talk useless and atheistic nonsense.” Then Vikas replied – “This is too much. You yourself strangled His neck and yet you yourself are not aware. Do not pretend to be naive.”
Malook Das Ji had said – “Raam Dwaare Jo Mare, Bahuri Na Marna Hoye“. Whoever learns to die at Rama’s door, stays immortal. It is as if he has tasted the divine elixir The Necrotic feeling of death evaporates upon surrender to Lord Rams. All paucities vanish from life.
Your situation is completely reverse. Lord Rama is lying dead at your doorstep. No matter how much you chant Rama-Rama, you are always trying to make Him your own servant. Your prayers are – Desire of a son, obtaining wealth, promotion in job, etc. You only want to maintain an exploitative relationship with the Providence. You are just killing Him.
You seek and search for God everywhere, and yet you yourself have murdered Him, at your own door-step. Ego is the murder of God because the ego is saying that “I am – You do not. And even if you are, you are only for me.” The egoless state means that- “You are, I am not.” Whoever dies at Lord Rama’s gate, remains immortal.
Egoless means – Nothingness – that I leave my own self, that is, I leave everything to my God. Whatever I receive in life, is the gift of God. When this feeling enters into the mind of a worldly person, then the devotees and God become one because God has composed the entire creation of the universe. Therefore, omnipresent God exists everywhere. The worldly person exists only for a short temporary period.
Once a saint stood in front of a house to ask alms and called – “Jai Jai Raghuveer Samarth!” A lady emerged out of the house and offered alms in his bag. She requested the saint for a teaching. The saint replied that he will give a sermon tomorrow.
The next day Swamiji (saint) called again in front of that house- “Jai Jai Raghuveer Samarth!“
The lady of that house had made kheer (pudding) on that day, in which almond-pistachios had also been mixed. She came out with a bowl of kheer. Swamiji put forward his kamandal. When the lady started pouring kheer, she noticed that the kamandal contained dung and garbage. Her hands stopped. She said – “Maharaj, this kamandal is dirty.“
Swamiji said- “Yes, it is dirty but put kheer in it.” The lady replied that this will spoil the entire kheer. She requested to take it and clean it. Swamiji asked – ” So, you will put kheer only when this kamandal becomes clean?”
The lady replied – ” Yes, Maharaj!”
Swamiji said – “This is the essence of my sermon too. The preaching of sermons will be completely useless when the mind is full of garbage of tensions-worries and dung of immoral deeds. One should first purify one’s mind to comprehend divine sermons. A purge of immoral deeds will lead to True peace and joy.
Regularly just listening to preachings, hymns, and just performing chantings will not bring goodness and superiority in life. You also need to remove the immoral thoughts and deeds from your mind. Regular practice will lead to the removal of these faults and deficiencies, leading to the growth of purity within the mind. You can achieve excellence only by assimilating these teaching within your life.
Simultaneously, the emergence of the emotions of hymns and mantras in your life will activate each and every cell of your being. Regular continuation of this practice will escalate our level to a much higher state compared to the maddening rat race of this world. We will achieve such high excellence, that folks will crowd around us to see and hear us.
To summarize, one does not achieve happiness and joy in life through criticism, envy, immoral and toxic thoughts. Such immoral toxic thoughts are continuously growing in our life daily due to these negative thoughts and deeds, thereby soiling and defiling our life every day. We will have to completely eradicate these immoral deeds and tasks to bring perfection in our life. Working in a similar pattern for twenty-five days daily develops into a good-bad habit in our life. Therefore diligently practicing to remove these negative thoughts-deeds regularly for twenty-five days will eradicate these negative situations from our life for-ever. Similarly, we will have to practice sermons, hymns, mantras diligently for twenty-five days regularly to achieve True peace and joy in life.
With divine blessings,
