If a person were to free himself of his ego even for a moment he would find that it is the Nature that is taking care of all his needs. He is getting air, food, water, light and all other things from mother nature. And nature does not discriminate between its children. It is we who refuse its boons by bringing our ego in between and by trying to prove that we are running things in this world.
Mother Jagadamba has huge omnipresent form. She keeps showering her grace upon us through her various forms. She keeps giving us happiness and joy and she feels very much perturbed by our sorrow and pain. No matter how busy a mother is, no matter how important the task that she has in hand, her attention is always on her children. A child does not know how to talk or express its needs but a mother is well able to communicate with it. And it is from the mother that the child first learns how to mouth words. This is why we have the term mother tongue. Through her loving kisses and caresses a mother makes flow her love, consciousness and knowledge into the child.
She does not feed the child just her milk rather her love and affection too. This is why motherhood is so much respected by everyone all over the world. A Sadhak too is like a child. Some people accept the child within naturally, while others learn that they are but children after much struggle. The power of Sadhana that we feel so proud of is but given to us by the Divine Mother Jagadamba.
All knowledge, Sadhanas and Mantras have emerged from her divine form and enlightened our lives. In the present life of tensions the quicker we realize this fact the better, not just spiritually but also materially. The present age is of Kaliyug and we are well aware of the thoughts, the attitudes and the ills that prevail today. We do not wish to preach anyone about the ills of this age or the virtues that we ought to adopt, because by mere preaching our problems are not going to get solved.
May be by listening to sermons you might feel relaxed for a few moments and drift into a dreamy utopian world. But when you shall return from that state you shall find that nothing has changed around. This is not just a month of Tantra ahead rather this is the age of Kaliyug that we need Tantra. Devotion, singing hymns, blind faith or just sermons will not do. According to the knowledge given by Bhagwati Jagdamba only Goddess Kali is Capable of overcoming the evils in Kaliyug. And Kali represents Tantra Sadhanas. All Sadhanas of Kali, who is another form of Bhagwati Jagadamba, are based on Tantra. And this can be confirmed by referring to any scripture. The most wonderfully fruitful Sadhana of Mahakali is in the form of Lalitamba Sadhana. Lalitamba is not a different Goddess or deity, rather She is a powerful manifestation of Mahakali. The most divine and beautiful form of Mahakali is called Lalita.
Lalitam Shringaar Bhaavjanyaa Kriiyaa Visheshah Tadvatee Lalitaa
Lalita is the chief deity of Tantra and her Sadhana is so quick acting and rare that the Gurus hesitated to reveal it to even their own sons. This is why this Sadhna became extinct and disappeared. There sure is a spiritual seat and a temple of Lalita Devi, but Lalita Sadhana became a myth among the common people. The reason for this is as follows:
Nishumbh-shumbh –hanani Mahishaasurmardini.
Madhukeitabh-hantri Cha Chandmund-vinaashini.
Sarvaasur-vinaashaa Cha Sarvadaanav-ghaatini.
Sarva-shaastramayi Vidyaa Sarvaastra-dhaarini Tthaa.
Anekshasra-hastaa cha Anekaasravidhaarinni.
Kumaari Cheiv Kanya Cha Koumaari Yuvati Yatih.
Aproudda Cheiv Prouddaa Cha Vrddhmaataa Balpradaa.
Agnijwaalaa Roundramukhi Kaalraatristapaswini.
Naaraayanni Bhadrakaali Vishnnumaayaa Jalodari.
Shivdooti Karaali Cha Anantaa Parameshwari.
Kaatyaayani Cha Saavitri Pratyakshaa Brahm-vaadini.
i.e. the Sadhana of Lalitamba is so powerful that an ordinary Sadhak cannot assimilate its power. In the ancient times when disciples used to live with the Gurus and used to serve the Guru, the master through Shaktipaat would make them capable of bearing the vehement power of the Sadhana when they tried it in the future.
One should feel grateful to Yogiraj Gunnaateetaanand of Siddhashram who devoted his whole life to Lalita Sadhana and devised a ritual which even an ordinary family man can accomplish as easily as any Sanyaasi or Yogi. Through ritual one can fulfill all one’s wishes through the grace of Goddess Lalita without the fear of any adverse effect of its severe intensity.
Swami Gunnnaateeteetaanand realized during the course of his sadhana that if a special Yantra is prepared in such a way that instead of accumulating the powers of Goddesss Lalita together, if it is energized by one of the powers at a time then the force of the Goddess become less.
Then when the Sadhak chants the concerned Mantra he is able to assimilate all the powers but one at a time thus reducing the intensity considerably . As process of assimilation is slow there is no adverse effect. Yogiraj Gunnaateetaanand called this Yantra Ratnollasat Mahayantra and he established eight divine powers of Goddess Lalita in the Yantra namely Prabhaa, Maaya, jayaa, Sukshmaa, Visddhaa, Nandini, Suprabhaa and Vijayaa. And thus the Yantra became fully efficacious.
One who is more beautiful than the whole world, who is enchanting and charming is Lalita. Mother Bhagwati Jagadamba is beautiful like her. The foremost deity of Tantra is Goddess Lalita and in her Sadhana lies the essence of Jagadamba Sadhana.
These eight powers bestow eight boons like protection, wealth, riddance from ailments, defeat of enemy, fame , prosperity, power and position. Just keeping Yantra at home is enough to destroy all evils. One can try it at night or in day time. Just as a child in peril calls out to its mother] similar is this Sadhana that is a call to divine mother for help. One should wear yellow or red clothes. If wearing yellow face East and if wearing red face South.
One should worship the Mahayantra concentrating that may these powers be imbibed by one’s body. For this make eight marks with Ashtgandh on Yantra. No other worship is needed, for Yantra itself is very powerful and assimilates all powers of the Goddess. Then with a Shree Sundari rosary chant one round of Mantra.
Although this is just a one day Sadhana but the Sadhak should try to chant the Mantra daily just five times in order to fully assimilate the powers of the Goddess. For this one should just light an incense before the Yantra and perform the chanting.
When going out for some important work, wrap the Yantra in a yellow cloth and keep it in your pocket. This shall protect you from problems and remove obstacles that might come in the way of accomplishment of the task.
