This hymn was created thousands year ago and shows the significance of wealth in life. The present era is far more money minded than that used to be in those days. We can ourselves make out the significance of Goddess Lakshmi in our life thus.
It is also a well established fact that Goddess Lakshmi is worshiped, prayed to and propitiated in every nation. It is a different thing that Her name or form is considered to be different in various parts of the globe. Without Her, there can be no life as She is the provider to the entire mankind, she is the deity who bestows comforts, joy, wealth and totality, whether it is a mundane life that you are leading or a spiritual existence.
Even though most of us consider Her as the Goddess of wealth and prosperity, majority among us are deprived of good living standards. We find it difficult to even suffice the minimal requirements. Sadhana means contacting the divine cosmic beings, Gods and Goddesses and seeking their help to get rid of poverty, problems, tensions and hurdles in life.
Keeping in mind the requirements of the present time, a very secret Sadhana is mentioned below for the benefit of all the society. This Sadhana is very relevant to the present age and it is related to the Goddess of wealth – Goddess Maha Lakshmi.
The Goddess has numerous forms, each concerned to a different aspect of life. Aishwarya Lakshmi can get you luxury, Vasudha Lakshmi can make you a land owner, Ayush Lakshmi on the other hand can grant good health and long life. This Sadhana comprises the power of thousand forms of the Goddess and is thus related to all the fields associated to a human life.
This Sadhana is not just for a sadhak or a yogi, it can be performed by any man or woman or child who is ambitious in life, who wishes to live a prosperous life, who wishes to live a life deprived of poverty, pains and sufferings.
Its always better to understand this fact that only a person blessed with wealth and prosperity can achieve totality and fulfillment in life. This Sadhana can be performed on Sunday. Take a bath in early morning, get into yellow cloths and sit on yellow mat facing South direction. Place a wooden plank in front of you and cover it with a new red cloth.
Place a Tantrokt Nariyal and a Shat Ashtotari Mahalakshmi Yantra on it. Offer your prayers to SadGurudev chant one round of Guru Mantra and pray for success in the Sadhana. Worship the articles with vermillion, unbroken rice grains and flowers. Now chant 5 rounds of the following mantra with Mahalakshmi Shakti Chaitanya rosary.
Drop the Sadhana articles in a river or pond after completing the Sadhana.
This ritual is a potent tool for realizing all wishes in life. Sadhak must take a bath in early morning and wear fresh yellow clothes and sit on a yellow mat facing South direction. Place a wooden plank in front of you and cover it with a new red cloth. Place a steel or copper plate on it and write (Jha) on it with vermillion. Offer your prayers to SadGurudev, chant one round of Guru Mantra and pray for success in the Sadhana. Now put some flowers onto the plate and place Shat Ashtotari Mahalakshmi Yantra on it.
Worship the yantra with vermillion, unbroken rice grains and flowers. Now chant 5 rounds of the following mantra with Mahalakshmi Shakti Chaitanya rosary.
