There is famous saying in English, “It is not your fault if you were born poor, however, it is entirely your fault if you died poor.” The intent behind this line is that we don’t have much control over our birth. However, when the Lord gave us this life, He gave us an opportunity to do good deeds and to live a great life on this planet. The harsh truth of life is that we all want to live a happy and contended life, yet very few of us are blessed to live a life that can be called as an ideal life.
Who doesn’t wish to live a life full of luxuries? Who doesn’t want to get what they can think of? Who doesn’t want to live in a big house or wear expensive clothes or drive luxurious cars or eat what one wants to eat? However, for all these things we need money. We need money to remain healthy as none of the medicines are free, we need to pay for hospitalization, we need to pay doctor’s fees etc.
Poverty is the greatest curse of this world. Have you ever seen a man struggling in life? Have you seen those small children begging on the roads? Have you seen those teenagers trying to sell something in the scorching heat of the sun on red lights? Have you seen those men who are putting a tremendous amount of effort into their life just to manage their survival? And even after so much struggle in life, they remain deprived of the most basic necessities of life. It is poverty that pushes a man or woman to follow the wrong path in life.
Do you think that a person wishes to become a criminal when he was born? All of us when we were a child, dreamt to become something great in life. However, not all of us had the same privileges in life which now differentiate being a successful & an unsuccessful person. And this harsh world forced them to enter into the world of crimes to meet their needs. No doubt, their means are incorrect, however, they were tormented by the tough times in life.
Another pain that a person can go through in life is that they have wealth, but they still don’t have a healthy life. There are several people around the world who possess a lot of wealth, yet they can’t enjoy their life. They can’t eat what they want, they can’t move around freely to the places they want to visit and in a way remains confined within their house or hospital. Then what is the need for such money if we can’t enjoy it?
And what about if you have a lot of wealth and great health, yet you don’t have a perfect life partner? He or she always remains irritated and there is a lack of harmony in life. Isn’t such a house close to hell where the husband and wife don’t have affection towards each other? Their children remain afraid and tensed and soon they either become detached from the family or grow a feeling of disbelief against the opposite sex. What is the use of such money and health in life?
There are also many cases where a person has wealth, health, good life partner, yet they don’t have a child. Under such a situation, the man remains worried about what will happen to him in old age, who will look after them, who will take care of the property, etc. On the other hand, the wife always feels low and detached because she feels incompleteness in life without a child. Even such a life can’t be called a blessed life.
An even worse situation arises when the child doesn’t obey the parents. The parents remain worried about the child’s life and always remain concerned as to what will happen to the child after them. Who will take care? It has also been seen that a few children fall into bad company and then bring disgrace to family. Under such a situation, the parents feel that it would have been more fortunate to remain childless throughout life.
One another aspect of life is to gain fame in life. What is the use of that life when we are not able to make a mark for ourselves in this world? How does our life become different than that of an animal? Even animals eat, drink, move around, and give birth to their offspring, so what differentiates a human from an animal? It’s the name, prosperity, the authority of the human being that differentiates a man from an animal. What is the advantage of getting this human life if we remain unable to make a mark in history?
The definition of a complete life is to have wealth, health, a good life partner, good and obedient children, name, fame, and prosperity in life. And all this is possible only by means of Ashta Maha Lakshmi Diksha. We can’t change our parents, we can’t just change the environment around us, all that we can change is our karma in life. The most important thing in life is to become a fortunate person with the right attitude towards life.
Getting blessed with this Diksha is definitely like opening the doors of fortune for oneself. However, the best day to get initiated with this Diksha is the day of Lakhsmi Jaiyiti 7 March, which is the best day to appease Goddess Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth, health, name, fame & prosperity, the Goddess who blesses us to have a good life partner, to have obedient children and to live a successful life. Definitely, it has been correctly termed in the shastras that only the most fortunate ones can get initiated by this Diksha in life as only a few can live such a contended life.
