Goddess Dhumavati is often named as the seventh Mahavidya. Goddess Dhumavati holds a winnowing basket in her left hand, which is a symbol of separating reality from illusion, like one uses winnowing basket to separate rice from the husk. Often, She is pictured with a bowl of flames in her right hand symbolizing cosmic destruction & the final dissolution of consciousness into the Void.
The Goddess is often called tenderhearted & the one who bestows boons on to Her sadhaks. She is described as a great teacher as She reveals the ultimate knowledge of the universe, which is beyond auspiciousness & inauspiciousness. Her form teaches us to look beyond what the naked eyes can see & to look within oneself to reach to the truths of life.
Goddess Dhumavati is described as a bestower of supernatural powers, a rescuer from all troubles & a granter of all desires & rewards, including ultimate knowledge & nirvana. Her worship is also prescribed for those who wish to defeat their foes. It is a myth that Dhumavati’s worship is considered ideal for singles, such as bachelors, widows, & world renouncers as well as Tantrikas. Like any other form of the Mother Goddess, She is the benevolent mother who treats all Her sadhaks as Her own dear child, so how can She harm anyone?
It is incorrect to associate Mother Goddess Dhumavati with only inauspicious qualities, Her thousand-name hymn relates her positive aspects too. She is often called tender-hearted & bestows boons. Dhumavati is described as a great teacher, one who reveals ultimate knowledge of the universe, which is beyond the illusory divisions, like auspicious & inauspicious. Her ugly form teaches the devotee to look beyond the superficial, to look inwards & seek the inner truths of life.
This form of Mother Goddess is very helpful to win over any enemy or to get rid of even the evilest spirits. When most powerful demons couldn’t stand before the mighty Mother Goddess, then how can our enemies, who are mere normal human beings, can even dare to come in front of the person who is guarded by the Mother Goddess. Presented below is a very powerful sadhana procedure which is small & highly effective to get rid of even the most powerful enemies in life. One can also perform this sadhana if the person is facing any malefic alignment of planets that could result in some misfortune in coming time.
One needs Shatru Mardani Dhoomavati Yantra.and Shatru Mardani Dhoomavati Rosary for this sadhana. This sadhna should be performed at the night after 10:00 p.m. Take a bath & get into fresh white clothes. Sit on a white mat facing South. Take a wooden plank & cover it with a white cloth.
Place a picture of Gurudev & worship Him with vermillion, rice grains, flower etc. Light an incense stick & an oil lamp. Chant one round of Guru Mantra & seek His blessings for the success in sadhana. Also worship Lord Ganpati & pray for removing any hurdles that might come while performing your sadhana.
Now take a steel plate & place it over the wooden plank just in front of Gurudev’s picture. Write “धूं” with the help of lamp black using a stick at the center of the plate. Place the Shatru Mardani Dhoomavati yantra over it, join your palms & then chant this meditation mantra 11 times with full devotion –
Dhoomra Mativ Sativ Poornaat Saa Sayugme,
SaubhagyaDaatri Sadeiv Karunamayih.
Next chant the below meditation mantra 5 times. This mantra is linked to Aghor Rudra, the Bhairav associated with Mother Dhoomavati-
Tripaad Hast Nayanam Neelanjanam Chayopamam,
Shoolaasi Suchi Hastam Cha Ghor Dashtratat Haasinam.
Now chant the following hymn to appease the Goddess:
Dhoomavati Mukham Paatu Dhoom Dhoom Swahaswaroopani,
Lalaate Vijaya Paatu Maalini Nitysundari.
Kalyani Hridayapaatu hasreem Naabhi Deshke,
Sarvaang Paatu Deveshi Nishkala BhagMaalina.
Supunyam Kavacham Divyam Yah Pathedbhakti Sanyutah,
Soubhagyamytam Prapya Jaate Devituram Yay.
Pray to the Mother Goddess to get rid of your enemy & speak out the name, if there are more than one then speak out all the enemies. Now chant 5 rounds of below mantra with Shatru Mardani Dhoomavati Rosary.
Take all the sadhana articles outside your house & bury them beneath the ground in South direction. Do not look back after doing this & reach directly to your home & take a bath. This completes the sadhana procedure & soon you will see how your enemies are fading away in front of your eyes.
