The merits that can be obtained by chanting a mantra one lakh times at pilgrimages or during auspicious times, the same merit can be obtained by chanting just five rounds of the same mantra during Solar Eclipse and undoubtedly the sadhana results in a success.
As mentioned above, the merits of performing Sadhanas during Solar Eclipse is multifold, every conscious Sadhak must take full advantage of this duration. Presented below are Sadhanas of two Mahavidhya who are most favorable towards the householders – Goddess Bhuvaneshwari and Goddess MahaKali. These procedures are short in nature and can be easily performed by Sadhaks. These Sadhanas are help to cater various problems that we face in our lives as Goddesses are the supreme power who control the various aspects of this universe. To gain success in these Sadhanas, all one needs is full devotion and trust towards the Goddess, Sadhana and Gurudev.
Bhuvaneshwari Mahavidhya Sadhana
Bhuvaneshwari, in Sanskrit, means the Creator of the World. Goddess Bhuvaneshwari is the fourth of the Ten Mahavidhyas. She embodies the physical cosmos and is considered to give shape to the creation of the World. Bhuvaneshwari is regarded as the supreme Goddess who creates everything and destroys all the unnecessary evils of world. The Bija (root) Mantra of Goddess Bhuvaneswari is “Hreem” and She is also known as Om Shakti or Adi Shakti.
It is believed that She is so powerful that even the NavaGrahas (nine planets) cannot stop Her from doing anything She wishes to do. Goddess Bhuvaneshwari holds a special place amongst the ten Mahavidhyas. The Goddess removes enemies, ailment and poverty from Her sadhak’s life and blesses him with beauty, wealth, luxury, love and pleasure. This Sadhana is capable enough to provide both worldly and spiritual completeness in life.
Sadhana procedure:
One needs Bhuvaneshwari Yantra, picture of Goddess Bhuvaneshwari and a Crystal rosary for this Sadhana. Light a ghee lamp and an incense stick before starting the Sadhana. Perform Nyaasa, Viniyog and Dhyan as mentioned in the procedure below.

Now worship the yantra with vermillion and rice grains. Chant one round of Guru Mantra and then start chanting Bhuvaneshwari mantra after this. According to the rules, if this Beej Mantra is chanted for 108 rounds, one can definitely attain Bhuvaneshwari Siddhi.
It may appear a difficult task to chant 108 rounds in a single day, but chanting of a single lettered mantra doesn’t take more than four to five hours.
Bhuvanwshwari Mool Mantra
The above mantra is the supreme and a unique mantra in itself. Before starting the mantra chanting, one has to energize the mantra by chanting “Guru Mantra” for five times before and after the mantra. This has to be done only once and soon after this, mantra chanting has to be started.
If the sadhak sees a glimpse of Bhagwati Bhuvaneshwari in the middle of chanting, he or she should not be distracted from the mantra chanting. Join your hands together with complete devotion before the Goddess after completing the mantra chanting. When Bhagwati Bhuvaneshwari appears before the sadhak , the sadhak should pray for accomplishment in Sadhana and to fulfill the desires.
MahaKali Sadhana
Sadhana is an easy way to blossom flowers of spiritualism in our lives. But the sheer number of Sadhanas could leave one in a fix when comes to choosing. However, making the right choice is not a problem for the Guru as he knows which ritual is perfect for the current situation.
Kalou Chandi Vinayako is a wellknown verse in the spiritual circle meaning that in Kaliyuga, or the present age of gross materialism, the Sadhana of Goddess Kali and Lord Ganpati is most rewarding. Also, all the Gurus, all the Yogis and texts unanimously accepts that there can be no better Sadhana for both material and spiritual growth than that of Mahakali. She protects Her devotees from all perils and propels them towards highest levels of success.
Still there are people who harbor strange, baseless fears in respect to this kind and benevolent form of Mother Shakti. Many believe that even the slightest mistake in Sadhana could incur a divine wrath in place of a boon. However this is false. Great Guru Shankaracharya said – Kuputro Jaayet Kvachidapi Kumaataa Naa Bhavati. It means that the devotee may be a sinner, yet for the loving mother, he is as eligible for Her grace as Her pious children. She never discriminates and showers Her affection to all those who asks for Her help.
It has been experienced by the sadhaks and yogis that enemies, sorrows, pain or diseases cannot harm a devotee of Goddess Mahakali. The life of such an individual remains brimming with joy, laughter, comforts and pleasures. He gets whatever he desires – wealth, f a m e , p r o s p e r i t y a n d e v e n s p i r i t u a l enlightenment. Bhogam Cha Moksham Cha Karasth Ev, stated in ancient texts, means that the devotee of Goddess MahaKali is bestowed with both spiritual and worldly pleasures.
Following is a really powerful Sadhana of Goddess MahaKali that cannot fail to produce the desired results, provided it is tried with full dedication and devotion. Thousands of sadhaks are witness that a Mantra or a Sadhana ever given by revered Gurudev proves really effective and this too is one such ritual.
Sadhana Procedure:
One needs Mahakali Yantra and Mahakali rosary for this Sadhana. Have a bath after 10 pm at night and get into yellow clothes. Sit on a yellow mat facing south. Cover a wooden seat with red cloth. On it place Mahakali Yantra and light a ghee lamp. Next take water in right palm and chant Kreem and drink it. Perform this ritual 2 more times. Next chant thus:
