Akshay Tritiya Festival: 10 to 17 May 2019
Sixth sense or Third Eye activation has always been the prime goal of all our ancient sages, rishis, yogis etc. as it is the only parameter by which a human life is differentiated from any normal human being. It is a subject of vast research in the West too and a lot of researchers have started to work on activating their sixth sense instead of investing their time to invent something new!
Have you seen a dog jumping in delight when its owner is about to reach home? Have you seen them mourn when something bad is about to happen to their owner’s family? Like many other animals species, dogs too have an activated sixth sense using which they can sense what is going to happen soon or can sense harm from someone. This is what sixth sense is in simplest terms.
When tsunami was about to come all the animals in the coastal regions fled to higher altitude to save themselves. The native tribes of Sri Lanka too fled to higher altitudes before the tsunami can touch them. Having had nearly 60,000 years of contact with the natural environment, these people followed animals’ intuitions and most of them survived. These are people who do not depend on technology and rather rely on their sixth sense or calls from nature for their very survival.
The sixth sense is a powerful tool that God has given us. But we don’t know how we can use it. Most of us have five active senses that are touch, taste, hear, smell and sight. Almost all 5 senses can be felt by the physical organs of the body that is located on outer part of the body. However, the sixth sense is related to the mind and doesn’t have an external organ for it.
All the senses are attached to one physical organ like taste is attached with tongue, skin with touch etc. Just like that, the sixth sense is our thought and the physical organ related with it is our mind. A normal human generates more than sixty eight thousand thoughts per day. We have a huge impact of these thoughts on our life. These thoughts may be of our past or future or related to someone else.
Let us take an example of how this sense impacts our lives. Most of us might have at least once observed the impact of sixth sense in our life. Some of us might have seen a dream of getting promoted in job and they actually got that promotion in coming days or someone sees themselves or some close relative meeting with some accident and that fateful event actually happened. The examples are numerous, however this sense doesn’t always remain in an active state in our body.
An inactive sixth sense can also be explained by an example. Many of us are aware of the fact how various television channel are broadcasted. We have a dish connection and a television at home and the dish receives the broadcasted signals from the satellites. However, if the alignment of the dish is not correct, we will not be able to see any channel. Similar to this fact that even though we have all the equipment that are required to see the channels on the television, yet we are unable to see them due to misalignment of dish; in the same way we are unable to process the sixth sense information received within our mind due to unaligned or inactive sixth sense.
The thoughts that come to our mind before it has happened are known as intuitions. The sixth sense is all about the intuitions that we have. It can tell us what is going to happen in future. With the help of sixth sense, we can know what someone is thinking right now. When we think something, we generate a vibration or a wave. These vibrations can be caught out by the sixth sense. This is the mechanism by which one can find out what’s running in someone’s mind.
Using the power of sixth sense is not necessary for living a normal life but unarguably it can greatly enhance the quality of our life. It can add a new perspective to our life. We will be able to find out who are our real well wishers by capturing their thoughts, whether we should continue or start the business with the partner, how to avoid any major mishap in life that is going to happen in future and other infinite possibilities.
Without any doubt, activating the sixth sense is one of the prime goals of human life. And due to this reason only, Gurudev has decided to grant Sixth Sense Activation Shaktipaat Diksha to all His loving disciples. It is our great fortune that we disciples are getting this opportunity to get initiated by this Diksha. There are several great yogis and sages who are deeply engaged in penance and sadhanas to attain such a level in life. Without a doubt, only after attaining the level where a person’s third eye or sixth sense has been activated, can a person be termed as a true human being. We all took birth as a normal human being, however we have this option to live a life of greatness by activating our sixth sense.
How often do we read or hear that visiting pilgrimages has a positive outcome in our life and helps us get rid of our sins. We hear that taking a holy dip in Ganges removes all our sins. However, if it would have been true, then all the people living around the places near the banks of Ganges must be living a very happy life. On the other hand, we find that their lives are no different than ours. Our holy scripts too mention this fact that going to pilgrimages are very beneficial and without any doubt what all is written in our holy texts are correct. Then why don’t we see any positive outcome of such a journey in our life?
The reason behind this is we don’t have the knowledge of the most auspicious time to visit these sacred places. Visiting these holy pilgrimages during specific days and at specific time can truly help us attain our goals. However, the problem with us is that we don’t have the knowledge of time and thus roam around in this world just like any other animal.
Due to this reason only, Gurudev has selected a very significant time of Vaisaakha Akshaya Month which is a great time to go for pilgrimages. Special arrangements are being made so that no one faces any sort of problem during this entire trip. During this trip, you will remain in the proximity of Gurudev and His family for 7 days which will prove to be the best 7 days of your life. God has created all of us to be unique and we must attain greatness in life to make this life worthy. For this, one must ask the question from within instead of seeking answers from others as to what one wishes for in life? No one can guide us in a better way than our very own soul.
Thus one must quickly get himself and entire family registered so that all the arrangements like stay, travel, energizing the sadhana articles etc. can be done within time frame. One can eradicate all the sufferings and pains, sins, shortcomings of life by just staying and becoming a part of all the divine activities for these seven days on this trip with Gurudev and take oneself to the next level of greatness.
Following divine activities will be performed during Gangotri-Badrinath trip:
1) After taking a holy bath into Bhagirathi River at Gangotri, all the sadhaks and disciples at Bhagirathi Shila will perform Kaal Bhairav Chaitanya Shakti Sadhana, get initiated with Poorva JanmaKrit Paapaankushaa Bhagiratha Shakti Diksha and holy sacrifice to ascertain Dharma, Kaam and Artha in life..
2) Sarva Dukh Bhanjan sadhana will be performed at Brahma Kapaal Mahateerth at Badrinath.
3) Tripuraantkaari Shivmaya Mrintyunjyam Shakti Yukta Rudrabhisheka and Sixth Sense Activation Shaktipaat Diksha will be provided at Keshav Prayag.
An advance arrangement has to be done for such a unique trip. Arrangements for accommodation, food, vehicles for transport, tents, hotel, warm beddings etc. has to be done from Haridwar only. Apart from this all the sadhana articles needs to be energized in the name of the sadhak considering his or her Gotram, name, place of origin etc. which is not only a cumbersome task but is time consuming too. Thus all those sadhaks and disciples who truly wish to go to such divine trip in order to attain greatness in life, to amalgamate the Guru in each and every pore and to remain 24×7 in close proximity with Gurudev i.e. for these seven days, shall quickly get themselves registered. As per Government Rules, one must carry Identity Card and their two photocopies with themselves.
Gangotri occupies a significant position in the entire circuit of Chota Chardham Yatra. The key reason for this is the fact that Gangotri is the birth place of Ganga, one of the holiest rivers for the Hindus and the main river that is meant to give life to mankind and purify them. The religious significance of Gangotri could be associated with its many ancient connections. It is believed that the waters of River Ganga flowing at Gangotri contains in it a powerful nectar by means of which Lord Shiva’s throat was soothed and healed after he had gulped poison. Pilgrims strongly believe in this and thus come in large numbers from far and wide to carry back with them the holy waters of River Ganga which is then used to worship Lord Shiva.
The significance of Gangotri has increased many folds owing to the Gangotri Temple that was constructed around 18th century. This temple belongs to Goddess Ganga and the shrine houses an idol of the Goddess. Apart from the main Gangotri temple, there are many other magnificent and sacred temples in the region such as Bhaironnath temple, Vishwanath temple and many more. This is another reason that imparts Gangotri travel a special significance for the devotees. By reaching Gangotri, they can pay their tribute to many Gods and Goddesses all at once.
There are many natural Kunds or water reservoirs plus springs in Gangotri that come with immense religious importance. Surya Kund, Gauri Kund, Gangnani thermal springs have very strong spiritual connections. Every day thousands of devotees bathe in these springs to purify their mind and body before offering Puja to Goddess Ganga. The Ganga Aarti done at Gangotri is so very overpowering and alluring that one feels literally incarnated by visualizing the Aarti at Gangotri.
According to the legend, King Sagara decided to perform an Ashwamedha Yagya after slaying demons on Earth. The horse which had to be slayed was to be accompanied by his 60,000 sons born to Queen Sumati and one son Asamanja born to his second queen Kesani, on an uninterrupted journey around the Earth.
Indra, the king of Gods, was afraid that he might lose his throne if this Yagya became a success and stole the horse and tied it to the ashram of Sage Kapil, who was in deep meditation at that time. The sons upon finding the horse in the Sage’s ashram were infuriated and stormed the ashram with rage. When the sage opened his eyes, he cursed all the 60,000 sons into perishing. Bhagiratha, the grandson of King Sagar performed deep penance for centuries to please Goddess Ganga to wash away his ancestors’ sins and grant them salvation.
The Gangotri temple is built close to a pillar called “Bhagirath Shila”, where it is believed that King Bhagiratha worshipped Lord Shiva to bear the descent of River Ganga. The water collected here is considered as nectar which is collected and taken to houses by pilgrims and devotees for holy purposes. It is also believed that the Pandavas performed the great “Deva Yagya” here, to pay tribute to their people who lost their lives during the epic battle of Mahabharata.
A natural rock like formation in the shape of a Shiva Lingam can be seen during winters as the water regresses. This is believed to be the spot where Lord Shiva allowed Ganga to pass through his hair locks. Lanka Pul which is the highest river bridge in India is located at Gangotri and can be visited near Bhairon Ghat. Gangotri is also the starting point of some trekking routes such as Gaumukh, Gangotri glacier, Tapovan, Bhojwasa, Shivling peak etc.
This place has been the penance land of several great sages, rishis, yogis etc. Even SadGurudev Dr. Narayan Dutt Shrimali Ji and Gurudev Kailash Chandra Shrimali Ji have performed their penance at this place making it a sacred place for all their disciples. In a way, this place is highly energized to perform various sadhana activities, mantra chanting, worship, sacrifices in holy fire, getting initiated by dikshas and other such pious deeds. Doing so not only removes the sins from one’s own life but also removes the sins of their ancestors. This evens out all the bad karmas and then only can a person live a content life which is full of all the worldly pleasures.
Assimilate Goddess Lakshmi in All Her Thousand Forms
Just as certain limbs of the body are purer than others, so are certain places on earth more sacred – some on account of their situation, others because of sparkling waters and others because of the association or habitation of saintly people. The four dhaams are the sacred place among those few and are considered to be the favorite abodes of Lord Vishnu (and His incarnation) on earth. Badrinath is one of the four dhaams which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
Badrinath Temple was originally established by Adi Sankaracharya in the ninth century. After that the temple has undergone many renovations. The King of Garhwal moved the idol to the present temple in the sixteenth century. After the Himalayan earthquake in 1803, the temple experienced significant damages and was rebuilt by the King of Jaipur. Badrinath temple is one of the five holy places (Punyakshetras) of India, where the Hindus offer oblation to their ancestors.
There are several legends associated with the Badrinath temple, which is also mentioned in Vedic texts. One legend says that Lord Vishnu went into deep meditation in Padmasana in this region. Due to this, he was unaware of the extreme climatic condition and his consort, Lakshmi, spread above him as a Badri tree to protect him from the harsh weather. Lord Vishnu was pleased with her and named the place as Badrikashram after Goddess Lakshmi. Complying with this legend, one can find the deity in Padmasana posture in Badrinath temple.
Another legend says that when Lord Shiva and Parvati were in meditation in Badrinath, Lord Vishnu came disguised as a small boy and cried to them asking for the shrine for meditation. Knowing he was Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva and his consort moved to Kedarnath.
Yet another tale about Badrinath is that the Pandavas expired one by one climbing the slopes of a peak called Swargarohini, which literally means “Ascent to Heaven”. There is also a town called Mana, which is 4 km North of Badrinath, where it is believed that Sage Vyasa wrote the Mahabharata in a cave now known as Ganesha cave.
Vamana Purana says that the two sons of Dharam – Nar and Narayan, which are the names of the two mountain ranges at present, went into great penance for the wellbeing of all entities in the Universe. Skanda Purana mentions Badrinath as the most sacred shrine of all shrines on Earth, Heaven and Hell. Padma Purana states Badrinath as the holy shrine with plentiful treasures.
Badrinath temple is an ancient holy shrine, which dates back to the Vedic period. The temple is one of the 108 Divya Desams (pilgrimage or holy place) for Vaishnavites, where they perform rituals for their ancestors. The fact that this sacred destination is devoted to Lord Vishnu and the belief of Lord Vishnu meditating here for thousands of years, turn the place into one of the holiest temples of the country. Badrinath is also one among the Panch Badris – other four includes Yogadhyan Badri, Bhavishya Badri, Bridha Badri or Old Badri and Adi Badri. The destination also finds its place in the famous 4 pilgrimage sites (Char Dham), which includes Rameswaram, Puri and Dwarka.
Few distance before Mana, Alaknanda and Saraswati River meets and this place is called as Keshav Prayag and is the first merging point of the rivers in the Himalayan range. Worshiping here, mantra chanting, performing sadhanas, taking dikshas at this place ensures that Goddess Saraswati bestows Her powers onto them and their life is enriched with knowledge, wittiness, eloquence and intelligence. Descending from here, Alaknanda reaches to Badrinath where She washes the holy feet of Lord Vishnu and earns the name of VishnuPadi.
The significance of this place can easily be seen by considering the number of sages performing sadhanas or meditation in this area. Without any doubt, Badrinath is a great penance land and blessed are those who gets an opportunity to visit such a divine land. Several Puranas teach particular sacred sites can grant boons, such as health, wealth, progeny, and deliverance after death. Had it not been true, there wouldn’t have been so many devotes visiting this place and offering their prayers in the holy feet of Lord Vishnu.
This is an opportunity for all of us to become a part of this grand journey on which Gurudev is taking us. There is a special reason behind each and every action taken by a SadGurudev. The disciples don’t really understand why the Guru is asking them to do so. However, it is also a fact that the disciples who follow the instructions of the Guru are certainly benefitted and in due course of time are able to make out why the Guru instructed them in such a way.
Performing divine activities like sadhanas, mantra recitation, taking diksha at pious places like Keshav Prayag, Badrinath, Ganesha cave, Brahma Kapaala etc. under the guidance of an able Guru ensures that one can not only assimilate all the divine powers obtained here but can maintain their positive outcomes throughout their life. Doing so ensure a life free from stress, troubles, poverty, diseases and all such negativities of life.
It is mandatory to obtain Guru Diksha from Revered Gurudev before performing any Sadhana or taking any other Diksha. Please contact Kailash Siddhashram, Jodhpur through Email , Whatsapp, Phone or Submit Request to obtain consecrated-energized and mantra-sanctified Sadhana material and further guidance,
