Lord Bhairav is a form of Lord Shiva only and has a fearsome appearance. It is a fact that the successful sadhak of Lord Bhairav remains safeguarded from all the evils as the benevolent Lord Himself protects all His devotees. No one can mess with such a person in life without harming oneself!!!
I was born in a well-educated family. My grandfather was a principal of a high school and all my uncles were highly educated. My father was a civil engineer and thus our inclination was more towards science than paramedical studies. Right from my childhood, I was a good student and always remained a position holder in my class. I had a keen interest in science and technology and thus chose to become an engineer.
I got selected in one of the reputed colleges of our country and my family was delighted on my achievement. We distributed sweets in our neighborhood and told them about my success. As I was liked by all and was considered as a role model for all the children in my society, my success was a milestone for others. The parents in my neighborhood started to inspire their children to become someone like me. Soon the day came when I had to leave for the hostel.
When I entered into the college, I was left dazzled. The campus was huge and there were several hostels. I had never seen such big campuses in my life and was more than happy to be a part of such an elite college. After doing all the formalities, I was allotted a room. I was tired of all the travel and formalities so went to sleep early.
Soon I made few good friends in the college and life was fun. I continued to study diligently and scored good marks in my first semester exams. After the exams were over, we planned to go for a trip to the hills of Himachal Pradesh. I had heard a lot about the beauty of this place and was extremely delighted to get a chance to go for a visit. We were supposed to go to our home for a short one week break and after that we planned for a two week trip to Himachal Pradesh.
I was given a very warm welcome by my family when I arrived home. Even the neighbors came to visit me and asked how my life is at my college, how my studies are going etc. I greeted all of them with great pleasure and they were happy to see that I am still the same person even after staying for more than six months away from my family. In the night at the dinner table, I told my family about our college trip to Himachal Pradesh and that I was leaving for there the next week.
My father encouraged me to go to the trip as such trips give exposure and makes a person independent in life. My mother too was happy as I had not travelled much due to my studies and preparation for competitive examinations in my entire life. So in a way, I didn’t have to convince anyone in my family to allow me to go to this place.
On the day of the departure, my uncle came with me to the railway station. He told me that it is a great opportunity and I must enjoy this trip fully. However, as a word of caution, he told me not to go out alone in the dark. When I asked why, he said that there is a danger of wild animals and other things at night. I got a little bit curious about the “other things” and inquired from him, “Uncle, what do you mean by other things?’ He looked deeply into my eyes and said nothing. When I asked again, he said in a stern voice, “You must not leave alone at night at any cost. And even if you have to do it, don’t interrupt anyone or anything, and when I say anything, I mean anything. Don’t look back if someone calls you at any unfrequented place. Are you getting it?”
I nodded my head in acceptance, but I still didn’t understand what he mean by anything. Suddenly, the train’s whistle was blown and my uncle blessed me and reminded me his advice again. I waved back to him and said not to worry, I will not go out alone and will not interrupt anyone or anything. I went to sleep but there were thousands of questions coming into my mind as to what my uncle was trying to tell me.
The next morning I reached New Delhi at around 10 am. All my friends were waiting for me and then we left to catch the bus from ISBT, New Delhi. We boarded the bus of Himachal Tourism and started a memorable journey which was going to remain fresh forever in my life. By the evening we reached to our destination which was a small resort of British era. I didn’t find the place very welcoming and started getting negative vibes from the moment I stepped into the resort.
However, I ignored it considering my fatigue. All of us had our dinner and went to sleep into our rooms. We were eleven people and had 6 rooms, so ten members would be staying on twin sharing basis and only one will get a separate room. All of us wanted a single room so finally we decided to opt for the chits. And to my pleasure, I was the lucky one to get the single occupancy room. Or shall I say the unlucky one?
Soon, we all left for our rooms and fell asleep. Around 2 am, I heard a loud cry coming from a distant location. Initially, I considered it as a dream, but when it continued for a long time, I couldn’t ignore it anymore. I woke up and put on my slippers to go out of the room and see who is crying so loud at night. I was about to go out of my room when I recalled my uncle’s advice to not to leave alone at night. Somehow, I didn’t dare to go out of the room and went back on to the bed.
Within a few minutes, the cry became much louder and it appeared as if someone was crying just outside our resort. It was both strange and fearsome to hear such a spine chilling cry. I was feeling very uncomfortable and wanted to rush to my friend’s room which was just next to my room. However, I couldn’t gather much strength to go out of my room as our rooms were facing the open area from which the noises of deep cry was coming. I wrapped myself completely into the blanket and tried to ignore the sound. After around half an hour of disturbance, the cry suddenly disappeared and there was an utter silence. This silence was even more breath taking as I finding it difficult to sleep anymore.
I didn’t remember when I fall asleep and wake up the next day when my friends were standing outside my room and were shouting my name. I saw that it was a bright sunny day and quickly came out of the bed. I opened the door and found that all my friends were ready to leave for the trip. I told them I will need around 30 minutes to get ready and will meet them at the breakfast area. I quickly got freshened up and went to have my breakfast.
When I reached there, I found that my friends were almost done. I sat next to my closest friend and started to have my breakfast. While having the breakfast, I asked my friend how was his last night. He replied that he had an excellent sleep that night and was really excited to go for today’s trip. He then asked about mine to which I replied that it mine was great too.
We went for a trek that day which passed through a dense forest. Our guide advised us to stay together to remain safe from wild animals and not to leave the trail without informing him. While going through the forest, our guide pointed towards an old bungalow and started to tell about its history. He told that a young woman used to reside in this bungalow who was burnt alive by the locals here as she was believed to be a witch. He then continued that people claim that they have seen her ghost in these woods. She tries to gather attention of the passerby by her cries and when someone goes near her, she kills that person.
On hearing this story, I asked the guide, “Has someone ever heard her crying near to our resort?” The guide looked back at me with a stern look and said, “Yes, I have once heard her crying near our resort at night. I came out of my room but fainted just after looking at her from a distance. I never dared to open my room at night after that fateful night.” All of us were stunned to hear that and asked our guide to take us back. Even our guide said that as it was soon to be dark, it would be betterto reach the resort soon.
We started our journey back to the resort at once. It was almost the time of dusk when we were getting close to our resort. I was the last one walking on the trail when I heard someone calling my name. It was the voice of a woman and I wondered who she was as no one knew me in this area. Even though I was afraid from my core, I made the biggest mistake of my life. I ignored my uncle’s advice to not to look back and turned back to see who was calling my name. I saw a diminished figure few meters away from me and was stuck bound at that very place. I found it difficult to move and could just see that figure coming closer to myself at a very quick pace.
I was frightened to see the face of that figure. The figure was of a lady whose face was almost burnt and looked very frightening. Her teeth were all visible and appeared as if she had just drank blood of someone. It appeared that I was about to breath my last breath when I saw the scary image getting away from me screaming loudly. The last I remember was seeing my uncle rushing towards me and then I fainted.
I came back into consciousness the next day around noon. I saw my uncle sitting beside me and caressing my hair in affection. He smiled at me when he saw me opening my eyes and said, “I warned you not to look back if someone calls you?” There was a concern as well as an authority in his voice. I could just say sorry and tears started to flow out of my eyes. He consoled me and said not to worry anymore as he was with me now and that evil spirit can’t harm me.
I couldn’t understand how my uncle was so sure and why the evil spirit didn’t harm me. He read it all in my eyes and said, “I was cautioned about this incident by my Gurudev. He warned me that you are going to get into deep trouble and asked me to come here. I have performed Kaal Bhairav Sadhana under His guidance and now such evil spirits can’t stand before me. You just rest now. You are under safe hands of my revered Gurudev and nothing can harm you.”
We left for our home town the next day. I was feeling great and requested my uncle to take me to his Gurudev. I wanted to meet and thank such a divine figure who saved my life. Luckily, Gurudev was meeting His disciples on those days in New Delhi and we went to His hermitage. Both my uncle and me bowed down in His holy feet and obtained His blessings. He smiled looking at me and asked if I was fine now. I said that I am fine and grateful for saving my life. I requested Gurudev to initiate me with Guru Diksha to which He agreed. He also gave me Kaal Bhairav Diksha and sadhana along with Guru Diksha and blessed me.
Gurudev told my uncle to share the sadhana procedure with me and help me accomplish this sadhana. He also told him that I will be needing the help of Lord Kaal Bhairav in future too. I performed the sadhana with full faith as per Gurudev’s guidance and got a glimpse of Lord Kaal Bhairav. I told about the success of my sadhana to Gurudev and He was very pleased to hear about the positive outcome of my sadhana.
I have seen the positive attributes of this sadhana on multiple instances in life. I helped many people facing difficult situations like enemies, diseases, evil spirits etc. over these many years by the blessings of Gurudev. Not only these, I have seen how easily I can get things done from people with great authorities and they feel happy to give me favors. Definitely Lord Bhairav is a benevolent Lord and every individual must perform this sadhana to live a stress free life.
Provided below is the same sadhana procedure which was given to me by Gurudev.
Sadhana Procedure:
This sadhana should be performed after 10 pm. One needs Kaal Bhairav Yantra and Kaal Bhairav Rosary for this sadhana. Take bath and get into fresh black clothes and sit on a black mat facing South. Take a wooden plank and cover it with fresh black cloth and place a picture of SadGuruDev and worship him with vermillion, flowers, rice grains and seek His blessing for the success in the sadhana. Light an oil lamp with four wicks and an incense stick. Then chant one round of Guru Mantra with Kaal Bhairav Rosary.
Next make a eight petal lotus with black sesame seeds and place the yantra at the center. Place one betel nut in each petal of the lotus too. Worship the yantra with sindoor, rice grains and red flowers. Also worship each betel nut with sindoor, rice grains and red flowers. Now take the rosary in your left hand and worship the rosary too with sindoor, rice grains and red flowers. Next chant 11 rounds of below mantra with the rosary.
Mantra
|| Om Kreem Kreem Kaal Bhairavaaya Namah ||
Pray to Lord Bhairav by speaking out, “O Lord Kaal Bhairav! Please protect me in every sense. Defeat all my enemies and bestow happiness and prosperity upon me.” This completes the sadhana procedure.
Drop all the sadhana articles except the yantra in a river or pond the next day. Continue to chant the above mantra 11 time before the yantra every day. This ensures a bond remains between you and the benevolent Lord forever in life.
