Several sadhanas related to Kali, MahaKali & DakshinKali are available in texts, however, sadhana of Saumya Dakshin MahaKali is considered one of the best sadhanas related to the Goddess. Tantriks like Vama Khepa have also agreed that Saumya Dakshin MahaKali is a very secretive and unparalleled sadhana and only a handful of people have the great fortune to accomplish this sadhana. Only when all the merits of a person bear fruit can that person accomplish this sadhana.
Even Trijata Aghori, the great Tantrik of this world, has mentioned in his text Tantra Saparyaa that after wandering for several years and meeting thousands of Tantriks, he finally met Swami Nikhileshwaranand Ji and obtained knowledge of Saumya Dakshin MahaKali sadhana from Him. He further mentions that he has thousands of Tantra procedures, yet this sadhana is unique and unparalleled.
Saumya Dakshin MahaKali is not very common among householders. This sadhana is a boon in itself and great yogis used to share this secret with only those disciples who served them for their entire life. The secret was shared only with those disciples who were able to assimilate the Guru within themselves and served Him by all possible means.
Meaning Of Kali
Indian Gurus consider Goddess Kali as the prime Goddess among the ten Mahavidhyas. Aacharya Bhatt has mentioned thirteen meanings of Kali –
1)By the effect of whose Sadhana Kaal (death) is destroyed and the person lives a long life and gains the power to die at will.
2)By the effect of whose sadhana a person can understand time and such a sadhak can perceive the past, present and future instantaneously.
3)It means the Goddess who demolishes the enemies of the sadhak.
4)She helps get rid of all the shortcomings, sins & misdeeds of a person. She can help a person instantly overcome the addiction of alcohol and other bad habits. She also helps Her sadhaks to overcome lust, anger, greed, attachment and pride and guides them onto the path of nirvana.
5)She is also termed as Raj Rajeshwari, meaning She can bestow enormous wealth. The sadhak of Kali surely attains financial gains in life.
6)Kali is VindhayaVasini, meaning that She provides all the worldly pleasures and nirvana to Her devotees.
7)She is also called Sharanya, meaning She can remove all the sufferings and help a sadhak attain a state of deep meditation.
8)She is also termed Vigyan, meaning that She removes all the scarcities of life.
9)She is a form of Durga, thus She removes all the challenges of life.
10)She helps remove all the hurdles from a sadhak’s life.
11)She is the provider of all the siddhis, thus instead of wasting time in performing several sadhanas, one can attain everything by just accomplishing Her sadhana.
12)She is termed the eradicator of all sorts of diseases. She can convert old age again into youth.
13)She is the main Mahavidhya, thus accomplishing Her sadhana means attaining success in all Mahavidhya sadhana.
Sadhana Procedure:
One needs Saumya Dakshin MahaKali picture, Saumya Dakshin MahaKali Yantra, TriShakti Gutika & Saumya Dakshin MahaKali rosary for this sadhana. According to the Shastras, this sadhana must be performed at night. One must take a bath and wear red clothes. The sadhana must be performed while sitting on a red mat and facing South. Next, take a wooden plank and cover it with a fresh red cloth. Place a picture of revered SadGurudev and worship Him with vermilion, rice grains, flowers etc. Light a ghee lamp and an incense stick. Then chant one round of Guru Mantra and pray to Gurudev for success in sadhana.
Now place the picture of Goddess Saumya MahaKali next to the picture of Gurudev. Take a steel plate & place Saumya Dakshin MahaKali Yantra & TriShakti Gutika on the plate. Place the rosary over the yantra. Now worship the Goddess and these articles with water, saffron, unbroken rice grains, red colored flowers and some sweets made of milk. After this, chant 11 rounds of the following mantra using Saumya Dakshin MahaKali rosary.
