The rising Sun initiates a major change on the earth. The closed buds start to bloom, and the trees, plants, animals, and birds become active. The fragrance that was hidden, starts to appear. The setting off of the Sunlight makes the earth dormant with darkness. Everything goes into a state of nothingness. Everything awakens-activates as soon as the sun rises. Similarly light has never reached the deep recesses of the human mind. It is still cast within a pall of total darkness. Everything is dormant there. Everything is unconscious. You have to bring in the light of knowledge there, only after which, the awakening is possible. The consciousness of SadGuru has to be brought in. How do we take the lights of wisdom within these depths of mind? How do we illuminate it, to end the pervading darkness there, so that our lives be illuminated? The medium to carry that light is – Guru consciousness.
The most valuable knowledge of life is to bring light into the dark chambers of the mind. The mind starts changing immediately upon the illumination of this light of knowledge. The buds which were lying dormant, start blooming into flowers. The soul energy within the self, which was dormant till now, awakens up. The day when the soul energy fully wakes up, a relationship gets set up. Then the person does remain fragmented into different parts, and the debate, arguments, discord, turbulence evaporates up. A peaceful calmness gets set up within. A little flicker of light is present. We could not have done anything in the absence of this mere flicker. However a tiny flicker shines, a little lamp is lit up somewhere within these depths of the mind, and it is shining brightly there. This flicker is motivating you to listen to the noble words of SadGurudevji. You are walking, living and thinking, and waking up within this tiny flicker. Within this little shine.
Man is born with eternal possibilities, with contemplations of eternal seeds. The actions on these seeds determine the nature of blooming flowers. We ourselves are creating each of our thoughts and contemplations at every moment, so each task is done with utmost patience, sincerity, and thoughts. One who realizes his own inner wisdom, realizes the vision, all of his glands cut off, and all bondages disappear from his life, turning it into spic-span. Now, however he lives, he is full of simplicity, humility, and naivety.
If a person attains the sense of satiation, then his self-confidence will certainly enhance, and he will be able to accomplish even the toughest tasks with ease. And, if one is frustrated with ability, sad with poverty, upset with obstacles, despondent with failure, then excellence will never emanate within life. Because human life is created only to struggle and a frustrated, sad, upset, and despondent person will neither be able to struggle nor be able to succeed. Make every possible effort to achieve perfection, with complete focus, and regularity. This is the treasured formula of life. But, what do you do? You just continue to seek shortcomings and evil within others, and your life is getting out your grasps with this carelessness. You have not been able to achieve anything. You will not be able to achieve anything if you do not change your nature.
SadGuru is ready to fulfill your physical and spiritual desires, but first, you should imbibe His thoughts, wisdom, and ideals within your life, and tread on the path guided by Him. You are not letting the light to assimilate within, because if the light enters inside, then your tendency to denigrate will be destroyed, and deceit, treachery, lies, jealousy, lust, and your ego will die. Then you will realize that your ego was actually worth sacrificing. But the starting process will be painful. It will be painful to accept the guilt and seek punishment. However, if you actually manage to accomplish this, then you will become a disciple in the real sense and will become SadGurumaya virtuous.
One person completed the study of various disciplines. Now he wanted to gain knowledge of self-knowledge. So he reached the ashram of a famous sage to get his guidance. The sage ordered him to stay in the ashram. He was given several types of services to perform. Many days passed in the service but the study did not start. Multiple doubts about education started to grow within his mind. He had come to attain the supreme self-knowledge, and yet he had gotten tied in the mess of the worldly tasks. He became sad.
One day, when he reached the pool to fill a pitcher with water, he was burning with anger and anguish. He forcefully threw the pitcher on the sand, and sat on one side. A voice came from the pitcher – Batuk, why do you show so much anger and rage? Guru has sheltered you, then certainly your wish will also be fulfilled. He replied – I had come here to learn self-knowledge and yet, all of my time passes away in the service of others. The pitcher said- Listen, friend, Initially, I was nothing but mud. Then the potter pounded, stirred, and kneaded me for many days, shaped and burned in a furnace. After undergoing all these steps, I am sitting in front of you. If you wish to progress, then you should not fear the heat of the furnace. Just continue to do your work. Do not let the difficulties scare you. The divine conscious of SadGuru is always with you at each step of life, do not get distracted by obstacles, and never get frustrated. Counter the problems with all your patience, courage, and capacity. I assure you that if you do this, then you will definitely be able to overcome your problems. Those who have strong determination will power, they control their progress and success with the blessings of the Guru.
The basic foundational element of a disciple’s life is the divine grace of Gurudev, which is continuously flowing through the cosmic power. Nobody can progress without grace. He certainly requires the divine blessings of God and Guru to progress ahead. However, the sanctity of blessings cannot be attained in absence of actions. You should remember that only the one who fully assimilates the actions-activities within his life, can achieve success and excellence in life. Lazy persons are surrounded with frustration and failure, and prosperity is absent from theirs and their family’s life. Karma-Yoga (Actions) is the fundamental element of physical and spiritual life. Guru shows the ways, holds hands to mentor, and arouses self-confidence. This faith turns into the basic foundation of life. Anyone who has borne this foundation has definitely achieved his goal. One who patiently bears all scolding-rebuking from the Guru attains Joy and Perfection. Guru always shows the righteous way to the disciple, leading him to success.
