O Mother! Apart from you, all Gods provide boons and fearlessness by their hands. You are the only one who don’t need hands to bestow blessings and fearlessness to your devotee. On one hand where all Gods fulfill the desires of their devotees by their hands, O Mother, you being the saviour of your devotees from all sorts of fear, provide everything just by your feet.
Navratri is the festival to attain liveliness, consciousness, happiness & what not. All this can only be attained by assimilating the divine energy generated by means of sadhanas related to Mother Goddess Jagadamba. It not sufficient to be aware of power, it is not sufficient to make others aware of power, it is necessary to assimilate the power within itself & above all to have full control over it. An uncontrolled energy or power can lead to devastation only!
Navratri doesn’t mean to spend the nights in Jagaran or to sing devotional songs of the Mother Goddess. Rather it means the sadhaks should use the time of these nights properly when there exists no noise in the outside world. It means to make the best use of this time & fulfill all those wishes which we are unable to fulfill by our best efforts.
It has been mentioned in the Shastras that during these energized days, the sadhaks must try to attain everything that has not been written in his destiny. We are all sons of great sages, we are sons of Goddess Shakti. Had it not been true, there shouldn’t be any festival like Navratri, no one should be worshiping the idol of Goddess Durga. This is a symbol to remind us that we are the sons of the divine Mother Goddess. We should use the swords of sadhanas & cut down the roots of all the sorrows, sufferings & poverty from our lives.
We are all capable & we can use the auspicious time of these nine days to remove all the shortcomings of our lives.
One can attain following blessings from Mother Goddess during this energized period.
1) A continuous inflow of wealth in our life.
2) Earn name and fame in society.
3) Life should be filled with happiness and we should remain healthy.
4) Get blessed with a son.
5) Win over our enemies.
6) Get blessed with own home and vehicles.
7) Unending fortune for both men & women.
8) Rise of fortune.
9) Fulfillment of all our pious wishes.
The above mentioned nine points are the true feelings of Navratri. Each day of the Navratri is highly energized & the sadhaks should use them to fulfil their desires. It is also a fact that just by chanting a single mantra, one can’t fulfil all these desires. One must perform sadhanas related to the nine forms of Mother Goddess – 1. Shailpurti, 2. Brahmacharini, 3. Chandraghanta, 4. Kushmaanda, 5. Skanda Mata, 6. Kaatyaayani, 7. Kaalratri, 8. MahaGauri, 9. Siddhidaatri to fulfil all these desires.
Majority of people today spend Navratri by just speaking out Jai Ambe, Jai Ambe & are unable to utilize this time to the fullest. If we want to make the best use of this time, then we must follow the path of sadhanas. Then only one can attain everything in life – both necessary & important for us.
To transform this energized period of Navratri into the days of prosperity, to assimilate this energized time within oneself, & to make it a permanent divine event of the life, the sadhak must take full advantage of this time by performing various sadhanas related to the various forms of Mother Goddess Durga.

This Navaratri festival is a divine festival that can fulfil all the wishes of the sadhak, this festival is associated with the nine divine energies that emerged from Mother Goddess Durga & performing their sadhanas provide quick results. The Shastras have talked about the various forms of Goddess Durga as –
Prathamam Shaiputree Cha Dwiteeyam Brahmacharinee,
Triteeyam Chandraghanteti Kushmaandeti Chaturthakam;
Panchamam Skandamaateti Shashtham Kaatyaayaneeti Cha,
Saptamam Kaalraatri Cha Mahagaureeti Chaashtamam;
Navamam Siddhidaatree Cha NavaDurgaa Prakeertithah |
The sadhaks should dedicate a fixed time in either morning or at night & perform these sadhanas at that specific time every day. The sadhak should take a bath & sit on a yellow mat facing either west or north direction. Preferably, get in yellow clothes & wear Guru Chadar while performing the sadhana.
Next take a wooden plank & cover it with a fresh piece of red cloth. Place picture of revered SadGurudev on it & worship Him with vermillion, rice grains, flowers etc. Light a ghee lamp & an incense stick. One must ensure the lamp is of pure ghee & it must continue to burn during entire Navaratri. Chant a round of Guru Mantra & pray to Gurudev for success in the sadhana. Now pray to Lord Ganpati & worship Him too. Next take some water in your right hand & speak out your wishes for which you are performing the sadhana. Let the water flow on to the ground. Worship of Gurudev, Lord Ganpati & taking pledge & speaking out your wish should be performed daily before starting the sadhana.
Next make a mound of rice grains & place NavaShakti yantra after bathing and wiping in dry. Similarly, place the other articles on separate mounds of rice grains. Worship the sadhana articles with vermillion, rice grains, flowers, fruits etc. Make a Swastik with rice dyed in vermillion on your left side and place a pot filled with water over it. Put 5 or 11 leaves of mango tree and then place a coconut tied with Kalawa around it and place over these leaves. Make Swastik symbol on both pot and coconut.
This is the first divine bestower form of Mother Goddess Durga that fulfils all the wishes of the sadhak. This procedure is equally important for both men & women as it can provide an unending fortune of life. Thus, the first day of Navaratri is also called as the unending fortune day. The sadhaks should chant one round of the below mantra on this day.
At times, a person is unable to attain the success one wishes for even after putting in the best efforts. No matter whatever the task a person takes in his hands for his benefit, it finally results in a loss. Thus, the person starts for feel frustrated in life & starts considering himself as the misfortunate one.
Our Shastras have mentioned a special procedure for such people that can help them overcome all the hurdles of their life & become fortunate. The sadhaks should chant one round of the below mantra on the second day.
It is better to be a person without any wealth but have good health as a person with good health can still enjoy all the worldly pleasures if they reach him.
An ill person is considered as a burden by all the people & is ignore even by his near & dear ones. Thus, a person who is not healthy remains devoid of all the successes of life.
Chandraghanta form of Mother Goddess Durga is beneficial to get rid of all the diseases & troubles of life.
A person who performs this sadhana, a person who is able to chant one round of the mantra below gets blessed with a healthy life.
Kushmaanda procedure is the procedure to pierce this universe or in other words it is the sadhana to obtain everything by the means of the lights of this universe. One can perform this procedure to become beautiful & attractive in life. Chanting just one round of the below mantra can help the sadhak transform his personality & become beautiful & attractive in life.
It is a fact that a person lacking beauty & attraction can’t be called as a fortunate person.
The society doesn’t let a woman live happily who doesn’t have a son. Also, just having a son doesn’t mean the life of the person really becomes happy as one needs an obedient son who can bring grace to the family. There is a special sadhana mentioned in our Vedas & Shastras and is presented here for the benefit of the sadhaks.
The fifth day of the Navaratri is called as Putresthi Diwas or the day to get blessed with a son. One should chant one round of the below mantra to get blessed with an obedient & fortunate son.
The procedure of Goddess Kaatyaayanee is a very powerful & immaculate procedure & always provides the desired results. There are hundreds of sadhaks who have attained success in this sadhana procedure.
Goddess Kaatyaayanee is very beautiful & fulfils the wishes of Her devotees. Thus, a sadhak can perform this sadhana to fulfil all the desires of life. One needs to chant one round of the below mantra for this.
Presence of enemies in life is truly painful as even a single enemy can make our life a hell. However, it is also a fact that if one aim to progress in life, it is natural to have more & more enemies.
So, instead of shying away from those who are troublemakers, one should perform the sadhana of Goddess Durga in the form of Goddess Kaalraatri to win over all such enemies.
Goddess Kaalraatri Durga is the Goddess to eliminate all the enemies. She provides power to the devotees & safeguards them from their enemies. One should chant one round of the below mantra on the seventh day of Navaratri to win over all the enemies.
The eighth form of Goddess Durga assimilates the complete form of Goddess Lakshmi within. This form of Mother Goddess bestows home, vehicles & all sorts of prosperities on to the devotees.
This is a simple sadhana procedure where the sadhak needs to chant one round of the below mantra associated with this form of Mother Goddess Durga.
Every person wishes to attain name & fame in life. The person wishes to attain significant position in his life within the organisation he works for, everyone wishes to become famous in the entire country & aspires to do something that can make him popular & wished for in life. The Shastras have mentioned this magnificent procedure to obtain name, fame, prosperity, popularity etc. in life.
The last day of Navaratri is the day of Mother Goddess Siddhidaatri. This day is also celebrated as Siddhidaayaka Shreshtha Tantrik Diwas. Thus, any Tantra sadhana performed on this day results in success. The sadhaks must chant one round of the below mantra on this day.
On one hand where these sadhana procedures are helpful for the sadhak to attain success in this materialistic world, these sadhana procedures also provide spiritual upliftment to the sadhaks at the same time. It is necessary to chant one round of the given mantras daily, however, if time permits, the sadhaks can chant 11 or 21 rounds of these mantras.
One can pursue the job or business daily during these days & the sadhak is not bound to stay within the home. However, the sadhana procedure must be started at the same time every day. Keep all the sadhana articles at home for 21 days after completing the sadhana procedure & then tie them in the red cloth & drop them in a river of pond. If it is not possible, offer it to some temple with some money. Also, any family member can perform these sadhanas.
