A procedure to safeguard your entire family against the misfortune of
untimely death and to live a happy and contended life.

I can still vividly remember a particular day when a small family—a mother, her adult son, and his wife—arrived with expressions of deep distress etched across their faces. The tension around them was almost tangible. They sat quietly, waiting for their turn to meet Gurudev, yet they could barely hide the storm of anxiety raging within them. Fear radiated from their eyes, and tears streamed down their cheeks without pause. Although their outward appearance suggested that they belonged to a respectable and well-to-do household—possibly from Gujarat—their emotional state revealed turmoil far greater than anything visible on the surface.
Curiosity and concern compelled me to approach them. I gently asked if everything was alright and tried to understand what circumstances had brought them to such a state of despair. But despite my attempts to comfort them, they chose to remain silent. They were consumed by their own suffering and seemed unwilling or unable to share their burden with anyone except Gurudev.
After a few minutes of tense waiting, the family was called inside to meet SadGurudev. They entered with hope mingled with dread. I watched them disappear behind the door, still puzzled about the cause of their fear. Though I could not hear their conversation, I later learned that they explained their situation to Gurudev with great pain. He listened patiently, then offered them a specific spiritual remedy and guidance tailored to their problem. Once they received His advice, they did not linger. The family hurried out, still visibly troubled but perhaps carrying a faint spark of hope as they departed for their home.
Nearly six months passed before I saw them again. This time, however, the transformation in their outlook was striking. Instead of despair, there was an unmistakable aura of relief and happiness surrounding them. They even had a small boy with them, around six years old, whose presence immediately caught my attention. Delighted to see them in such an uplifted state, I approached them warmly and greeted them with “Jai Gurudev.” They responded with equal warmth and enthusiasm.
Their smiles spoke volumes, and soon they shared what had transpired in the months following their first visit. They told me that by the grace and blessings of SadGurudev, their lives had taken a miraculous and positive turn. Once they began to open, the depth of their earlier suffering became clear. The elderly woman—who was the mother of the young man—revealed the source of their terror. Her son had been targeted by adversaries who were determined to kill him. Their enmity was severe enough that the entire family lived under constant threat.
But that was only one part of their ordeal. She went on to describe a painful tradition of misfortune that had plagued their lineage for nearly ten generations. According to this tragic pattern, if the first child born into their family happened to be a boy, he would not survive beyond the age of six. This curse-like condition had continued unbroken for decades, possibly centuries. And now, her own grandson had reached the critical age. He was nearing six years old—an age that historically marked the end of life for every first born male in their family. Thus, the family found themselves caught in a double calamity: the constant threat looming over the son’s life, and the terrifying possibility that their young grandson might also die soon, just like the many boys born before him.
Living with such fears day and night had nearly crushed their spirits. The old woman spoke through trembling lips, recalling how the family had lived in the threat of unknown, feeling powerless against dangers stalking them from every direction. But then she described how their meeting with Gurudev had changed everything.
She recounted their conversation with Him. Gurudev had instructed them to perform a specific sadhana—a protection procedure meant to safeguard the family from the tragedies of untimely death. This practice, He explained, could counter the forces responsible for such recurring misfortune. If carried out with unwavering faith, genuine devotion, and complete commitment, it could transform their destiny in a remarkably short time. Gurudev also shared with them that the same spiritual method had once been performed by Savitri, who used its power to rescue her husband, Satyavan, from the grasp of Yamaraj, the god of death.
As the elderly woman narrated this, tears once again filled her eyes, though this time they were tears of gratitude rather than despair. Her voice trembled, and emotion choked her throat as she expressed her heartfelt reverence for SadGurudev. She said that had they not received His guidance, their family would have certainly been destroyed. The very thought of what might have happened made her shudder. But by following the sadhana procedure with devotion, they witnessed profound changes that felt nothing short of a miracle.
She pointed to her grandson standing nearby, alive and cheerful—now little older than six years, defying the tragic fate that had claimed so many of their male children. This was the first time in ten generations that the curse had been broken. Her gratitude was immeasurable. She also shared that her son’s enemies, who once sought to harm him, had unexpectedly made peace with him. Their hostility had dissolved so completely that they now behaved more like allies than foes. It was as if all bitterness had vanished from their minds.
Listening to her recount the transformation of their lives, I felt deeply moved. Her unwavering faith, her tears of relief, and her profound respect for Gurudev touched me. I, too, felt my heart swell with admiration for Gurudev’s quiet service to humanity. Despite possessing extraordinary spiritual power, He always conducted Himself with humility, behaving like any ordinary person while silently uplifting countless lives.
The family soon went inside to meet SadGurudev once again. They offered their gratitude with folded hands, expressing the depth of what His blessings had done for them. When they emerged, their faces glowed with joy, and they left for their home ?lled with peace and thankfulness.
Some days later, I had the rare opportunity to sit with Gurudev alone. Taking advantage of the moment, I asked Him a question that had been lingering in my mind ever since the family’s story unfolded. “Guruji, what exactly is this Savitri procedure? What makes it so powerful? What kinds of outcomes can one achieve through this sadhana, and how can one successfully complete it?”
Gurudev listened calmly before offering His explanation. He said, “It is the same sacred practice that Savitri performed to free Satyavan from the clutches of Yamaraj. The day she accomplished this great feat later came to be honored as Vat Savitri Day.” His words illuminated the spiritual significance of the procedure. It was not merely a ritual; it was a deeply transformative discipline rooted in divine tradition.
As our conversation progressed, I learned that this procedure is profoundly beneficial in several situations. It can be performed for:
© Protecting a son or husband from dangerous adversaries.
© Ensuring the safety of the entire family.
© Safeguarding someone from the threat of premature or unexpected death.
© Promoting a harmonious, prosperous, and fulfilling family life.
Gurudev emphasized that the sadhana could be undertaken to fulfill any one of these intentions—or even all of them collectively. However, He reminded me that the key to success lies in performing the practice with sincerity, devotion, and complete dedication. Only then can one experience the full effect of its spiritual power.
Through this experience, I gained a deeper understanding of how Gurudev quietly transforms the lives of those who come to Him with genuine faith. His guidance not only alleviates suffering but also restores hope, strengthens families, and offers protection during the darkest of times.
Sadhana Procedure:
One needs Purnatva Prapti Yantr, Poorna Siddhi rosary and 5 Kamya Gutika. This is a single day procedure and Vat Savitri Day is the best day to perform this procedure. However, this sadhana procedure can also be performed on any Wednesday. Take a bath early in the morning and wear fresh white clothes. Sit on a yellow mat facing North and place a wooden plank before you. Cover the plank with a yellow cloth and place a picture of revered SadGurudev on it. Light a ghee lamp which should continue to burn during the entire sadhana duration. Now worship Gurudev with rice grains, vermillion and rose petals and chant one round of Guru Mantra. After this pray to SadGurudev for success in the sadhana.
Next take the yantra and offer some water to it and then wipe dry. Next offer few rose flowers to the yantra and speak out your wish for which you are performing this sadhana procedure. Offer some food made of milk to the yantra. Next take the rosary and chant 21 rounds of the below mantra.
Mantra
|| Om Shreem Savitryai Phat ||
।। ऊँ श्रीं सावित्र्यै फट् ।।
During evening on the same day, the sadhak must revolve 5 times around Vat tree encircling it with Mauli and keeping the five Kamya Gutika in hands. Drop one Kamya Gutika into the roots of the tree after each revolution. Drop the remaining sadhana articles in the roots or in a river the same day or the next day. This completes the sadhana procedure.
