I have said many times to my disciples in discourses that you have not been able to understand yourself, and you may not be able to understand yourself in the future as well. A person who cannot take challenges lives a life full of poverty, sadness, weakness, and lack of knowledge. A person who dares to take challenges does not care if there is a wall, a stone, or a mountain in front of him. It is because of such brave people that human beings have reached the peaks of the Himalayas. These are the people who have travelled across rivers and oceans.
You have lived a life of weakness for many years, and you are comfortable living such a life because you have been taught this way. You were taught that you should not become powerful in life. You were taught that poverty is a blessing. You were taught that forgiving someone is the greatest quality. You were also taught that life must be lived by facing difficulties. Because of all this, you have now reached a stage where you feel stuck, as if you are standing in front of a blind well.
You have been made to believe that everything that happens in life is the wish of God. But you never tried to understand God. Because of this, even God does not know you. Gods do not know you because you never tried to connect with them. Only courageous people take such steps. A coward can never achieve anything great in life.
A country is made up of its people. A country is nothing but a group of people living together. If people stop living there, the country will no longer exist. However, today our country has started to change. It has taken bold decisions like nuclear tests and surgical strikes, and it has stood strongly in front of the whole world.
The country did not worry about what would happen tomorrow or how other countries would react. In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna told Arjuna that he was worrying unnecessarily. Krishna never moved away from the topic of war. He never said, “Take bribes, live a simple life, and keep suffering.” There is no such useless teaching in Gita.
In every verse, Krishna motivates Arjuna to fight. He tells him to be courageous and to remove his cowardice. Krishna also says that one should not fear death. Brave people are never afraid of death. If you die in war, you reach heaven; if you win, you become the ruler of the land. In both situations, you gain everything.
A person who is afraid of death cannot achieve anything in life. Such a person cannot succeed. Many of you are living in the same way, unable to take decisions. You say that your life has been going well for the last two years. But during these 730 days, I have told you many times that life does not become great just by eating well or living comfortably. It is your mind and willpower that must become strong.
I even understand that only about 20% of you will truly understand what I am saying, while the remaining 80% are just listening like an audience. Still, I believe you are closely listening to me, but you are not ready to change your life. You do not have the courage to take on challenges.
Krishna said that it is better to die in battle, because the moment you die, you reach heaven. You have nothing to lose. There is no need to put down your bow and think about relatives standing in front of you. A life lived in fear has no real value. Even a worm moves forward in life, but you are not even able to do that.
Krishna clearly told Arjuna that it is necessary to fight in life. This fight may be with your family, society, or circumstances. Even if you do not fight, conflicts will still exist, and you will suffer mentally. If you continue to live like this, then your own family may not respect you, and you will keep suffering silently. When you die, it will be the same end. Such a life has no real meaning.
A coward cannot build courage. Such a person cannot make his life meaningful. He cannot stay firm on any strong idea. He suffers every moment. If someone insults such a person, he hides behind sayings like “forgiveness is a great virtue” and does nothing.
Think about this: if a strong wind is pushing you forward and you want to reach your destination, that wind can help you reach faster. But if you become afraid of dust, falling, or danger, you will not use that opportunity. Even if you take a safer path, you may survive and meet your family, but there will be no real achievement. In the end, you may lie on a bed, take medicines, and suffer before death. There is no joy in such a life.
If someone insults you and you stand up for yourself, something may happen—but you will face it. When our country decided to take strong action, it knew about the consequences. Still, it acted with courage.
We are a nation that believes in peace. But if someone harms us, we also have the strength to respond. Earlier, we only spoke about peace, but that made people weak. True peace comes with strength. Simply talking about peace does not bring peace.
If you think only about weakness, poverty, and death, you will attract the same. If you constantly think about death, it will come closer to you. If you think about the divine, it will also come closer. You are not born to die helplessly. You are born to become powerful and capable.
The first day of the Aashaadha month has great importance. On this day, the Guru tells the disciple that you have 30 days to transform yourself and rise to the highest level by Guru Purnima. If you fail, you will continue to live a life of darkness and incompleteness.
When Goddess Jagadamba was fighting Raktabeej, a new demon was born from every drop of his blood. The Goddess became troubled seeing so many demons rise again. She realized that it was impossible to defeat him this way. So, she went to Lord Shiva and told Him everything. Lord Shiva then gave Her a trident and initiated Her with the Paashupatastreya Diksha.
The Goddess then reached back to the battle ground and said with full pride
Yo Mam Jayati Sangrame Yo Mey Darpam Vyapohati
Yo Mey Pratibalo Loke Samey Bharta Bhavishyati
You can become my husband, and I am willing to marry you, but first you need to defeat me, you need to crush my ego and let it be clear who is more powerful.
The divine weapon absorbed all the drops of blood before they could fall to the ground. As a result, no new demons were created. After an intense battle of two and a half hours, Goddess Jagadamba finally defeated Raktabeej.
RaktabeejaVadhe Devi Chanda-Munda-Vinaashini
Rupam Dehi Jayam Dehi Yasho Dehi Dviso Jahi
One who remembers the Goddess who defeated Raktabeej, Chanda, and Munda is blessed with beauty, victory, and fame. All these things are told so that you do not just listen but take full advantage of the Aashaadha month. A person who does not use time properly cannot achieve anything. A miserly person cannot live a fulfilling life. You always keep thinking whether you should take Diksha or not. You think you are smarter than the Guru, and you repeat this mistake repeatedly.
Those who say, “Ahimsa Parmo Dharma” (non-violence is the highest duty) and avoid struggle cannot achieve anything. I say, “Hinsa Parmo Dharma” (non-violence is necessary), because without strength, Dharma cannot be protected.
If someone raises a hand against you, you must have the strength to respond so that they never dare to harm you again. Why should we live a life of fear? I know you are not like Arjuna, who at least questioned the situation. You must stand up in life and fight without fear of death. If you gain success in sadhana, you succeed. Death cannot trouble you, because I am standing right behind you.
I do not want you to live a life where you crawl like an insect. Your life should be full of strength, courage, and challenges. You cannot become brave by eating food like ghee or cheese. True strength is an inner fire. Divine power exists within yourself, and you can also awaken it. I want you to leave your narrow thinking and rise to take challenges. Do not live with a poor mindset. If you say you have no money, I can offer you money in exchange for your hand. Your body itself is extremely valuable, yet you call yourself poor.
You are Kuber yourself, but you do not realize it. You search for money in your pockets, but real wealth comes from your capability. Lord Krishna also went to His Guru for guidance during battle. Even Goddess Jagadamba took Diksha when She needed it. This shows that to achieve success; divine guidance is necessary.
There are many Raktabeej in your life. When you go home, I want you to live with strength and confidence. No one can harm you if you awaken your inner power. Even if you lose some money, you can earn it again. But if you come begging and ask for small help, that is not right. The moment someone refuses you, you feel defeated. What kind of life is this? I feel pained to see such weakness.
Death cannot harm you if you live with courage. My purpose is to uplift you, not to entertain you. I can raise you to great heights in a moment if you are ready. Even Gods became powerful through Diksha. That is why they are worshipped. You can also reach such heights if you gain strength, courage, and knowledge. You can earn money again, but you cannot bring back lost time or missed opportunities. A true Guru may not always be available. It is your choice—live in fear or rise with courage. If you remain weak, I will feel disappointed. But if you rise and take challenges, I will feel proud.
My blessings are with you. Think deeply about what I have said. Do not just listen—apply it. You are not here just to listen to stories. You are my disciples. In life, you must either fall while fighting or live with courage, pride, and strength. I bless you with success in your life.
