We used to live in a small town and there were not a lot of opportunities there. Most of the people around me belonged to normal middle-class family. I was born into a well educated family. My grandfather was a principal of a high school and all my uncles were highly educated and were living a happy life in different towns. My father chose to live with his father and was a teacher in a school. In general, we were living a decent life and were mostly happy with what we had.
My aim was to get selected in a reputed engineering college and with my hard work and dedication, I was able to get admission into one of them. Soon I made a few good friends in the college and life was all fun. One night, all of us sat down and started talking about ghosts.
One of our friends said he has felt negative vibes in his life and said he believes in ghosts. He said there is a tree in his village that is said to be haunted, and spirits live on that tree. Even though they don’t trouble everyone, but if offended they bring havoc on the person. Once a person peed at the tree and that really made them infuriated. They possessed the person and he had to suffer a lot. He got relieved only after the priest of the village performed special rituals.
For us it was all fun and we started mocking him. Hearing this, the friend got offended and challenged us to come to his village and try ourselves. His village was a few hours drive and all of us planned to visit and see the haunted tree. The next few days were summer holidays in our college and thus we all agreed to leave for his village early in the morning the very next day.
We all got up early and left for his village. We first went to his home and rested for a while. It was the first time I visited a village, and I really liked the greenery surrounding it. His village was on the foothills of mountains and there was a big lake that was the source of water. Everything seemed so calm, and we were enjoying our stay.
Soon, we left to visit the haunted tree. The tree was huge, and probably the biggest in the surroundings. There were birds chirping on the branches of the tree and there were lots of beautiful flowers around it. There was nothing unusual about the tree and we all started to mock our friend saying you villagers are superstitious.
We said there is no ghost, as our understanding of a haunted tree was mostly derived from the movies – there must be something spooky about it. To prove my friend wrong, I stepped forward and peed on the tree. My friend tried to stop me, but all my friends stopped him and said nothing will happen to him.
Once finished, I turned back towards my friend and said, “Look I am fine. Let’s go back to the hostel, there is nothing like ghosts.” While we were returning, I got a call from one of my uncles who asked about where I was at present.
He sounded a bit concerned and told me to come to his home directly instead of going back to the hostel. There was an authority in his voice, and I couldn’t say no to him. Also, his home was only a few kilometers away from the village.
The moment I put down the call, I felt something strange behind me. I felt as if someone punched me in my back. I looked back but there was no one and all my friends were in front of me. I thought maybe it was just an illusion to my mind and I tried to ignore it.
However, I started to feel bad after this very moment. Each step I was taking felt like there was some force that is working against me. After a couple of steps only, I got very tired and almost collapsed. All my friends rushed towards me and picked me up.
My village friend got frightened and became pale. He was able to sense that everything was not right with me. He started murmuring, “He has insulted the spirits! Now he is under their control, O God, help us!” He left all of us and ran towards his home. My body became very hot, I started to feel a lot of pain in my stomach and blood started to come out of my mouth. Looking at my condition, my friends got frightened but were unable to help me.
Soon, I saw my uncle rushing towards me. I raised my hand to catch a hold of him and then I fainted. When I regained consciousness, I saw myself lying in his worship room. I was feeling light again as if a huge weight had been lifted from my chest. There was a concern on my uncle’s face, however, seeing me conscious, he was overjoyed and tears flowed out of his eyes.
“We had almost lost you. Thanks to Gurudev who informed me at the right time and saved you.” He said and then landed a tight slap on my cheek. This slap was for my mischievous behavior and for his fatherly love towards me. He told me that I had offended the spirit that peacefully lives on that tree. I held my head down as I was the one at fault.
“Under the guidance of my Gurudev, I have performed Kaal Bhairav sadhana and now any spirits can’t stand before me. It is due to the grace of my Gurudev that you are still alive otherwise that spirit would have killed you. You are under safe hands of my revered Gurudev and nothing can harm you now.”, added my uncle.
Tears started to flow from my eyes, and I said sorry to my uncle. I promised him to never repeat such an offence in future. I also showed interest in meeting Gurudev, as He was the one who saved my life. My uncle agreed to take me to New Delhi to meet Gurudev. On reaching there, both me and my uncle bowed down in His holy feet and obtained His blessings. He smiled looking at me and asked if I was doing fine now. I replied saying I am sorry for my misconduct and grateful toward Him for saving my life. I requested Gurudev to initiate me with Guru Diksha to which He agreed. He also gave me Kaal Bhairav Diksha and sadhana along with Guru Diksha and blessed me.
I performed the sadhana with full faith as per Gurudev’s guidance and got a glimpse of Lord Kaal Bhairav. I told about the success of my sadhana to Gurudev and He was very pleased to hear about the positive outcome of my sadhana. I have seen the positive attributes of this sadhana on multiple instances in life.
Apart from having all the success in my own life, I have helped many people facing difficult situations like enemies, diseases, evil spirits etc. over these many years by the blessings of Gurudev. Lord Bhairav is a benevolent Lord and every individual must perform His sadhana to live a stress free life.
Provided below is the same sadhana procedure that was shared by Gurudev.
Sadhana Procedure:
This sadhana should be performed after 10 pm. One needs Kaal Bhairav Yantra & Kaal Bhairav Rosary for this sadhana. Take a bath and get into fresh black clothes and sit on a black mat facing South. Take a wooden plank and cover it with fresh black cloth and place a picture of SadGuruDev and worship him with vermillion, flowers, rice grains and seek His blessing for the success in the sadhana. Light an oil lamp with four wicks and an incense stick.
Then chant one round of Guru Mantra with Kaal Bhairav Rosary.
Next make an eight-petal lotus with black sesame seeds and place the yantra at the center. Place one betel nut on each petal of the lotus. Worship the yantra with sindoor, rice grains and red flowers. Also worship each betel nut with sindoor, rice grains and red flowers.
Now take the rosary in your left hand and worship the rosary too with sindoor, rice grains and red flowers. Next chant 11 rounds of below mantra with the rosary.

|| ऊँ क्रीं क्रीं काल भैरवाय नमः ||
Pray to Lord Bhairav by speaking out, “O Lord Kaal Bhairav! Please protect me in every sense. Defeat all my enemies and bestow happiness and prosperity upon me.” This completes the sadhana procedure.
Drop all the sadhana articles except the yantra in a river or pond the next day. Continue to chant the above mantra 11 times before the yantra every day. This ensures a bond remains between you and the benevolent Lord forever in life.
