What is death and immortality? Is there anything beyond death? Is death necessary and is there a method, any sadhana, any mechanism by which we can avoid death permanently in life.
This speech of mine is very important because this question is one of the most tough questions of the universe and we are heading towards its solution. This question has remained a point of curiosity for sages, philosophers for many thousands years and today one of my disciples has also asked this question.
Upanishad has mentioned these two words, “MritormaAmritam Gamaya”. It means that a human must try to travel from death towards immortality or a stage where there is no death in life. It means that even Upanishad agrees to the point that death is impossible. Due to this reason only it has mentioned that move from death towards no death situation. Death is a part of your life and whether willingly or non willingly, you will have to accept death one day.
Even though the sage has mentioned about death in the first half of this hymn, he also mentioned that there sure is a method by which we can attain this stage where death can’t touch us.
Both these situations presents a complex question before us…Indian philosophy, yoga, shashtras, Veda, Purans etc. all have in some way or other thought about this situation. Why does a human grow old? Why he dies? What is there in this human body which keeps him alive and the moment it leaves him, he dies. There is no significance of this body in between these two stages. The human form remains the same prior and after the death. His ears, nose, eyes all remain intact!
Now the question that arise here is what is death? Science proclaims that we die the moment our heart stop beating. However, there are several yogis who can control their heart beat and whose heart doesn’t beat for 4-6 hours. Does that mean they are dead? Thus this definition of death is not completely correct. There are several ways by which heart beat can be stopped and there is no equipment to hear the heart beat at that point.
This is not the question, question here is that is there a possibility to take a rebirth after death. Our ancient texts have mentioned it clearly that whosoever takes birth, he will dies one day, whether it is animal, plant, insect or even human beings. Who ever takes a birth, he will become young, then over the duration of life will grow old and will finally dies. This is because death is the basis of next life.
If there would have been no death, this whole universe would become a chaos. We will see millions of old people roaming around us, all full of diseases, full of pain in life, full of sorrow and remorse in life and there would be no place for the youth to stand on this planet. If there would be no death then this whole country will look feeble, there would be no joy, no fragrance of youth, there would be nothing new. This is all because there would be no place for youth in such a circumstance. From where would so much of food be supplied, from where all other necessities would be supplied? Due to this reason only, death is necessary because death is the basis of life.
This is a different question that whether our identity can remain intact even after our death or what is there beyond death? This is all a different topic because if death is not in our hand, than even taking birth is also not in our hand. We are helpless in both the conditions. It is not in our hand when to die. There is no mechanism, no siddhi or science by which we can explicitly state that we will remain alive for this much duration and death can’t trouble me.
This is also true that there are special sadhanas by means of which we can attain death only when we desire, we can remain alive as long as we want. However this is a speciality and due to this reason I have state that we don’t have control over death. We don’t have control over death and even Vashistha, Vishwamitra, Atri, Kanaad, Ram, Krishna didn’t have control over death and they also had to accept death in their lives.
However the presence of a soul remains in the environment even after death and it continuously tries to take rebirth. There is a lot of struggle to take a rebirth because there are several million souls which are present in the environment and willing to take a rebirth. And the opportunity to take a birth are limited.
There are fewer wombs where a birth can be taken. All these souls tries to push ahead to get a rebirth and all of them quarrel among themselves to grab this opportunity. And all the evil spirits are able to get a better chance to take rebirth in such a quarrelsome environment.
All the souls which have achieved some consciousness, which are good souls, which avoid quarrels remain are left behind and they don’t get an opportunity to take a rebirth and they keep on waiting. Due to this reason there are more evil peoples around us as only evil spirits are more equipped to get a chance to take a rebirth.
However those who have accomplished and got success in unique sadhanas, who are able to get success in MritormaAmritam Gamay sadhana have this control when to accept death in life, where to accept death in life and the nature of their death.
Death is an end of a ramshackle life and one should not fear it. By no means death is troublesome, it is like an unending sleep. When we are in a sound sleep, then we don’t feel what is going around, where are we and how are we. We don’t bother about our clothes or whether there is any cloth on our body or not. If we fall into a deep sleep and someone approaches near us with a dagger in his hand and attacks on us then we can’t make out if he was about to attack on us. This means that we die daily because sleeping is itself death and in the morning we wake up and at the night we again fall into sleep or into death.
Death means to forget oneself, it means to forget one’s identity, to forget our consciousness.
However this mechanism of forgetting all the things is for a few hours only and due to this reason it is call ‘sleep’ and when this process of forgetting all the things is for a very long duration then it is termed as ‘death’. There is no major difference in sleep and death. Maarkandeya
Puran mentions it very clearly –
“Ya Devi Sarva Bhuteshu Nidra Rupen
Sansthitaa, Namastasyai Namastasyai
Namastasyai Namo Namah”
This is because sleep is just an intuition of death only. As I have mentioned, there are some unique sadhanas by means of which we can control death in life. Controlling means – where ever we wish, at which ever age we wish, we can accept death. If we wish to attain an age of hundred years, then we can definitely live for hundred years, hundred twenty years, hundred thirty years, four hundred years, five hundred years and many thousand years. It will be possible for us if we take the help of these sadhanas.
We may ahead in the direction of completeness by means of sadhanas and the way death remains in our control by sadhanas, our existence may remain even after our death, our consciousness remains there even after our death….we may be in Pirta Loka or Dev Loka or Raksha Loka or Gandharva Loka or in any other Loka. (Loka means place in this universe where these entities reside.)
We remain in all these Lokas in a form of a being which is just of a size of a thumb and due to this reason, beings are also called “angushtamaatra” or just of a size of a thumb. This means that a living being gets transformed to a size of a thumb and there are many billions of such beings roaming around in this universe where we even can’t see….and if we see above this earth, then there are several souls of dead people roaming around with a single goal to take a rebirth.
Taking birth is not in their control and as I have just said that there is also the same quarrelsome environment, no one out there is following a queue, there is no rule or regulation and even this is not possible. Who so ever gets an opportunity grabs it…it is similar to the act where a powerful man seizes the land of a poor and weak person and the weak person can’t do anything but to witness it all. Similar to this, all the powerful and devilish souls push others and enters the womb of a lady and all the good souls are left behind for two years, five years, ten years, twenty years or even for fifty years.
It has become relatively difficult for the good souls to take a birth on earth and due to this reason only, the earth has become a place of sufferings, due to this reason only sins, false deeds have flourished so much on this planet…and the reason for this is more sinner souls are able to take birth as compared to good souls on this planet.
Is there a way out of this situation and how can we save ourselves from it?
This condition in itself is very painful. We spent our life doing all the good deeds, we prayed to God, we helped others and yet we have to wait for several years to take a rebirth. We wish to take a rebirth and think about the God, perform great sadhanas, enter into the field of spiritualism, sit in the holy feet of Guru, serve the people in this world…..however all this can only happen if we get a chance to take a rebirth and if we can’t take a rebirth then all these thought process have no meaning for us.
Some people who perform some special sadhanas in their life gets the power to retain all the memories like where they were, which sadhana they were involved in, in which form they existed etc? Such souls remain active to take a rebirth and they also have the knowledge that they need to select good parents who can provide them a better ethical bring up as compared to other parents.
There is no couple in this world right now who possess the capability to choose the best soul and give birth to them. Whenever the couples are involved in the process of mating, then which ever soul passes from there gets an opportunity of taking a birth. The parents don’t have the power to only allow the good souls or to prohibit the evil spirits from entering into the womb. Due to this reason only, we have to give birth to even the evil souls and nurture them. These evil souls grow up to become evil people only and are just a cause of sufferings to their parents and this whole society.
This is a real tragedy that even after going through all the pains, even after carrying the child in the womb for nine months, even after taking so much care, the child doesn’t listen or takes care of his parents. It is a suffering only and no one thinks about it. Science is unable to resolve this question and it will never be able to solve it. We have to use the knowledge of our ancient texts and sages to help us to avoid such a painful condition.
Three questions arise here: first that we should be able to live as long as we wish. And to bealive means to live a healthy life, it means a life free from all the diseases. What is the use of such a life where we are sick and bed ridden? What is the use of such a life if we get paralyzed? Such a life is equivalent to a death.
To remain alive means to be full of power, to be full of energy….and the answer to this question is yes, we can live a life as long as we wish. It is guaranteed that we can remain alive and healthy as long as we wish.
Mrityormaamritam Gamay sadhana that I mentioned can help us regain our health many folds. It is like we have a rechargeable battery whose power diminishes after use over the time.
However, it again starts working when we recharge it. Our body is similar to this battery. Our energy level diminishes over the period of time and when the entire energy finishes we call it death. However, we should gain the capability to get energized again, we should learn the technique to get charged again and live an another span of fifty-sixty years.
And Mrityormaamritam Gamay is one such unique sadhana which has been used by several sages to remain alive over many years. One can get rid of all the diseases and regain youth with the help of this sadhana.
Siddhashram is a very important and pious place and is the center of the spiritualism in this whole world. This world will remain intact only till the point where there is proper balance in between spiritual and material life. Whenever this balance gets shifted towards any of these two, havoc will be observed. When materialism takes a bigger part, then we will see more and more of these bomb blasts, all the countries will fight with one another, they will attack with atom bombs and will both of them will suffer and if spiritualism flourishes to a bigger half, again the situation becomes chaotic. Thus it is necessary to maintain a balance in between both of them.
Human beings naturally gets attracted towards bad deeds and due to this reason, Siddhashram keeps on sending some of it’s very special sages, some of it’s very pious souls on this earth to maintain the balance. May it be Ram, Krishna, Mahaveer, Shankaracharya, Jesus Christ, Guru Govind etc. These great people try to guide the people on the path of spiritualism. However these peoples are not treated well by the society, they are cursed, they are abused because all the people around are blind, they are infected by materialism, lies, sins and bad deeds.
When they listen to these great persons, their ego gets hurt. They feel as if all their rights, all their savings are snatched away from them. Thus they curse these great souls, they abuse these great souls, they imprison them and then these great souls are killed. However these souls do not get killed, they again get transformed to the size of the thumb and again gets into Siddhashram. These souls doesn’t have put any extra effort to get back to Siddhashram.
It is similar to wearing a shirt and when the shirt gets old or torn we take a new shirt and discard the old one. Similarly when this body gets old and weak, when all it’s parts become weak, then the soul discards the old body and gets into a new form.
When we get wound, our external skin gets discarded and a new skin automatically replaces it. Similarly when this body gets old, a new body automatically appears and the old body is discarded….however this is possible only by the means of sadhanas. Due to this reason, there are several thousand years old yogis in Siddhashram. Any one can see them, sit near to them and listen to their preaching and analyze their consciousness.
Any person can learn the techniques of war from Ram, he can listen to the preaching of Gita by Krishna, he can listen to Shankarbhaasya again from the mouth of Shankaracharya. None among them is an impossible task, all one needs is the will power to get to that stage and an able Guru who can take you there.
By able Guru, I mean someone who possesses such unique accomplishments in sadhanas, who can take you to Siddhashram with himself, who can show you those great yogis, who himself is respected there, who himself has attained greatness in life. It is not that such Gurus are not present on this earth, it is just that our eyes don’t recognize them, our thought process don’t let us recognize such a person because it is itself tainted with sins and false deeds.
We spent each precious moment of our life in doing some useless stuff but don’t put conscious efforts in understanding that Guru and due to this reason only, we are unable to obtain the true joy of life. This is a tragedy that we don’t try to learn, what we should learn in life, we don’t try to serve, we don’t try to obtain closeness of Guru, we don’t question ourselves what we should question.
Great yogis from Siddhashram has incarnated on this earth at different places with different names and have lived, spent their life in a very simple manner. The reason they led a simple life was because only a simple man can get connected to ordinary people around, only a person who is a part of the society can lead the society.
Jesus Christ himself led a very simple life and gave knowledge to all his disciples. Krishna Himself led a very simple life and acted as Arjun’s charioteer and delivered knowledge to Arjun and others in this form only, only Bhishma Pitamah could recognize that Krishna was a great soul…..no other person in that era was able to recognize Krishna…someone who could deliver the knowledge like Gita can’t be a common man. A common man can’t give such a knowledge.
However how many around at that time could recognize Krishna….those who did became marvelous in life and those who didn’t remain common.
Then came Buddha, Mahavir, Shankaracharya from Siddhashram and this process continues. This is our good fortune that such great souls are present in this era. This is our good fortune that we are able to spend some time with such great soul, this is our good fortune that such great soul recognizes us and we can sit near to them.
And it is our misfortune that even though we are desirous of getting close to Him we are not able to do so, we are so much tied into all the worldly shackles around that we are unable to prioritize that person. This is an utter tragedy and due to this reason we miss such a golden opportunity and we are left with nothing but to repent in life.
Due to this reason I am explicitly mentioning that there are several yogis who have obtained thousands years of age and we can see them with their eyes. Their body is as it as, they appear to be in the age group of fifty to fifty five years. It appears that their youth is still present, they still possess all the energy and all this is possible only by the means of Mrityorma sadhana.
I bless you all that may you all accomplish this sadhana in your life and attain the power to live as long as you desire. May all of you possess the strength to stare into the eyes of death and bully it. I bless you all once again from the depth of my heart.
