There was no scale for them to accept anyone as a disciple, who ever reached them with true devotion and with the aim to reach their inner consciousness, they accepted them as their disciples. They treated them with love and care as if their own son and guided them in their life. If the SadGuru is a sun, then the disciples are the rays and when these rays illuminate the world then every place gets rid of the darkness and this is the main aim of the Guru. The Great Guru never misused their powers and never showed any miracles because they knew that if the whole society is to be benefited, if the darkness is to be removed from the disciple’s life then they have to serve the elixir of knowledge by their own hands. If this procedure is not followed, then the impact will not be prolonged and the disciples won’t be able to experience true joy.
For this they themselves went through all the pains of this world, they practiced meditation and increased their capabilities to gain all the experience they needed to explain their knowledge their disciples. They shared whatever they experience rather than what they read or heard from someone. They didn’t leave any doubt within themselves because if there is a doubt within, then there would be no base of whatever they will try to explain.
None of us have ever heard of or read anywhere that the Guru has asked for any materialistic thing for himself. They performed sadhanas just to unite with the Brahma and after getting united they were filled with the aura of Brahama and who so ever asked for a boon, they used to spell out “Tathaastu”, meaning as you wish. Now the question that arise here is that whether it is correct on the behalf of a disciple to ask for a boon from his Guru? A question arises at the devotion and the capabilities of the disciple at this very moment.
Even though the Guru is aware of everything, he wishes that the disciple should come forward and speak out. When the disciple becomes capable enough to get the answers to his questions by his devotion towards Guru, then that very disciple can get near to his Guru and become his dearest disciple. SadGurudev Paramhans Swami Nikhileshwaranand Ji or Dr. Narayan Dutt Shrimali ji was one such great soul who reestablished this standard of Guru-Disciple relationship in the society. While being a disciple, he set a new standard for disciples, his aim just to please his Guru by any means and emerged successful in whatever test he was made to go through. Being a Guru, he again set a new standards by looking after millions of ascetic as well as householder disciples and took them to the level where they can enter into Siddhashram.
He dedicated his entire life for the redemption of Mantra-Tantra-Yantra and sadhanas in the society. He published around 156 texts on ancient Indian knowledge and dedicated everything as the knowledge of our Great Rishis and Saints.
Not only in his ascetic life, he also set a great standard as a householder and explained to all his householder disciples how they can attain totality in life even by being a part of this society.
