Salutations to Lord Krishna who is adorned with the sacred marks musk on his forehead and Kaustubha jewel on His chest, His nose is decorated with a shining pearl, the Palms are gently holding a flute, the Hands themselves are beautifully decorated with bracelets, His whole body is smeared with sandal paste as if playfully anointed, and His neck is decorated with a necklace of pearls, He is surrounded by the cowherd woman, Lord Gopala is shining in the middle and is like a jewel on the Head.
The significance of Lord Krishna has continued to gain more importance over the last several generations. His hypnotic eyes, his bravery, his cleverness, his love, his virtues, the tasks he accomplished etc., can’t be put down in some pages. If we listen to the preaching of any saint, they mostly teach that to attain completeness, to attain the state of Nirvana, one must live an ascetic life. They often preach this world as an illusion. However, if we ask them if they worship Lord Krishna, if they consider Him as a God, if they consider Him as Brahma, then the same Krishna never lived an ascetic life, rather he always followed the path of Karma. Even though he lived his life in full joy and prosperity, yet He is called as Yogeshwar.
The biggest yogi in this world is none other than a householder as he continuously walks on his path holding all the worldly ties together, still involved in the sadhanas and worshiping Gods. One who has understood Lord Krishna, one who has been able to assimilate the knowledge of Gita, for sure, the person has become a yogi in life. At the end of Gita, it is mentioned that where there is Lord Krishna, where there is Arjuna carrying out the Karmas, there exists Yogeshwar Shri Krishna, there exists victory, there exists prosperity and virtues.
Lord Krishna is not just someone who should be understood via Bhakti Marg. He is the epitome of power, ethics, virtues, prosperity and one can understand Lord Krishna properly only if he can understand all His traits. Lord Krishna gave us the preaching that one doesn’t need to be an ideal of virtues and moralities, but our behavior should be tough towards the bad people and should be lovable towards the virtuous people. Not only this, but he was also the one who laid down the foundation of modern world politics.
He was born at midnight when there was utter darkness, this was an indication that when there is utter darkness, a divine light will soon appear. Lord Krishna’s incarnation day comes every year with the message that there is a limit to pain and suffering too. This day is highly suitable for performing various Shastrokt, Tantrokt and Mantrokt sadhanas and sadhaks must take full advantage of this auspicious time.
Special sadhanas related to Lord Krishna can be found in secret texts like Gautamiya Tantra, Sharda Tilak and Kram Deepika. Gautamiya Tantra mentions that one can attain both prosperity and nirvana by performing sadhanas of Lord Krishna with full dedication. Below are four sadhanas related to Lord Krishna which touches on the four different aspects of human life. Based on the desires, some sadhaks perform all the four sadhanas of Lord Krishna in a single night and some perform the one that can fulfill their most seek desire. However, it is a fact that any sadhana of Lord Krishna doesn’t go in vain.
Hypnotic Madhav Procedure
Lord Krishna was known for His hypnotic powers. His sadhana is considered the best in the field of hypnotism. One should perform this sadhana during evening on the day of Janmashtami. One needs Hypnotic Madhav Yantra for the procedure. Have a bath and get into beautiful clothes. Wear some fragrance too and make the entire environment fragrant and appealing. Sit on a yellow mat facing east. Take a wooden plank and cover it with yellow cloth.
Place a picture of Gurudev and worship Him with vermillion, rice grains, flowers etc. Light an incense stick and an oil lamp. Chant one round of Guru Mantra and seek His blessings for success in sadhana.
Not take a copper plate and place it in front of Gurudev’s picture. Place the yantra at center and offer some saffron on it. Offer a flower garland onto the yantra and wear one around your neck. Now, one should make eight mounds of rice grains in front of the yantra and place one betelnut over it. They are the eight Mahishiyas of Lord Krishna –
Rukmini, Satyabhama, Nagnajit, Kalindi,
Mitravinda, Lakshmana, Jaambavanti and Sushila.
Now worship Hypnotic Madhav Yantra by offering flowers, sacred red thread, betelnut, sandalwood and black sesame seed. Sindoor holds a special significance in this procedure and must be offered on the yantra.
All these offerings should be made while chanting the mantra below. Once the worship is over, sadhak should chant 11 rounds of the mantra offering some rice grains onto the yantra.
Mantra
II Kreem Rishikeshaaya Namah II
After the mantra chanting, save all the offered articles and make a powder out of it. It is clearly mentioned in Gautamiya Tantra that after consuming just a small quantity of this powder, the person will follow your command and remain loyal towards you. One must not use this procedure for fulfilling unethical desires as it will harm the sadhak.

Offer Panchamrit (a mixture of milk, ghee, curd, sugar and Ganga water) and some sweets to the Lord. Place one Krishna Kundal at each side of the yantra and make a mark with saffron on them. Now the Shakti Vigrahas should be placed around the yantra – they are the eight powers of Lord Krishna namely Lakshmi, Saraswati, Rati, Preeti, Kirti, Kanti, Tushti and Pushti. Chant the below mantra and place one Shakti Vigraha around the yantra starting from the right side, then right-bottom corner, then at bottom and so on.
Om Lakshmyai Namah Purvadale,
Om Saraswatyai Namah Aagneyadale

।। Om Shreem Hreem Kleem Krishanaayai Govindaayi Swaha ।।
Perform Lord Krishan Aarti with the already lit lamp and consume the offered sacred food. If the sadhak repeats the process for one complete month, the wish is undoubtedly fulfilled.
