I am a simple person who has a strong faith in Goddess Jagadamba since my childhood. I own a small business and I credit Mother Goddess for everything that I possess today. My entire family has a deep faith in Mother Goddess and we daily chant Her mantra. It has been my daily ritual to chant fifty one rounds of the Gayatri Mantra before leaving for my shop. We are a joint family and my uncle too lived with us.
However, I started to face a stagnation in my financial conditions since last five years. Even though I never went to bed empty stomach, my business started to decline and I was under several loans due to my financial stagnation. My lenders filed cases against me in the court as I was unable to repay my loan amount.
Within a period of a year or two there were four-five cases against me. Not only this but my uncle also lost hope in me and threw me out of our home and I was thus forced to live in a rented house. Soon I became very weak financially – some due to poor growth in business and some due to the expenses related to the legal matters.
Even though I was going through a lot, I never lost hope or lost my trust in Mother Goddess. I will admit here that sometimes a doubt used to arise in my mind related to the benefit of chanting the mantra. What have I attained out of it? Why is my financial condition not stabilizing? I used to cry while chanting my mantra and did feel some relief for some moments, yet there was no financial gain that I could see in my life.
During these tormenting days, I met Gurubhai Janak Ji who told me about SadGurudev. After talking to him, it was very clear to me that the only person who can help me in this situation is SadGurudev. I went to Jodhpur with brother Janak and met SadGurudev. After meeting SadGurudev, I could feel a divine radiance emerging from Him. I clearly explained my situation to Him and also talked about my daily worship procedure. I then requested Him to guide me and to take me out of this swamp of indebtedness. I further requested Him to provide me the knowledge of a sadhana that is suitable for me and something I can accomplish.
I further told Him that I have been chanting Gayatri Mantra throughout my life, but now my trust is shaking towards this Mantra. My current understanding is merely chanting Gayatri Mantra won’t help me; I need to include some other sadhanas in my rituals to make my life better.
SadGurudev patiently listened to my words and didn’t speak anything in favour or against the Gayatri sadhaks. He did mention that Gayatri Mantra is an important mantra for human beings. He then said, “Your physical structure and the energies within you are more favourable to perform Shakti Sadhana. Every person can’t gain success in all the sadhanas. Physical structure and the mental energy of every human being is unique and a person must perform sadhana considering this fact.
Shiva Sadhana is more beneficial for some people and for some it will be sadhana of Goddess Jagadamba or Lord Ram. Only a SadGuru can tell you which sadhana is suitable for you and due to this reason, it is essential to have a SadGuru in life to gain success in this field. A sadhana performed as per your physical and mental energy can result in quick success. I can feel your energies are more apt to perform the sadhana related to Goddess Dhumavati to get rid of your current problems.”
I was eager to learn more about the sadhana procedure but due to some reasons, Gurudev asked me to come the next day. It was a bit more crowded the next day when I reached to Gurudev’s home. I waited for some time and then finally Gurudev called me. When I entered the room, He met with a smile on His face. He handed over some sadhana articles to me and explained the sadhana procedure. He then initiated me with Dhumavati Diksha to energize my body properly for performing the sadhana of Goddess Dhumavati Mahavidhya.
Then He told me to return to my home and follow the sadhana procedure. He further encouraged me to perform the sadhana with full faith and devotion as this will bring an end to all my miseries. I and Janak Gurubhai bowed down into the holy feet of SadGurudev and left for our hometown. I was feeling very relaxed after meeting SadGurudev!
From the next day I started performing my sadhana. Gurudev told me that this sadhana should be performed after 9 PM. I was told to take a bath, get into fresh black clothes, sit on a black mat facing south & perform the sadhana. I ensured an oil lamp continues to burn during my entire sadhana procedure. For additional safety, I also wore Guru Pitambar around my shoulders.
I took some water in my right hand and pledged using my name, father’s name followed by my wish for performing the sadhana. I used to chant 11 rounds of the mantra every day that Gurudev provided me.
When I went to sleep on the fifth night after completing my mantra chanting, I clearly saw some divine energy encouraging me. The lady was saying I will surely get success in my sadhana. She also told me to avoid going to my shop from the very next day to avoid unnecessary talks and speaking lie. Speaking lie or bad words can negatively affect the sadhana results.
From the very next day, I stopped going to my shop. I devoted most of my time in mantra chanting or reading spiritual books. I spoke to Gurudev and told Him about the dream and to my surprise, He was already aware of it. He also confirmed that I am on the right path and if I will continue to perform my sadhana with same diligence, I will surely get success in the sadhana. This further boosted up my faith and trust towards Gurudev!
I continued my sadhana procedure and on the eleventh night, I felt a sudden impact on my chest. Somehow, I managed to hold my rosary from falling. There was a flood of divine light in front of me and I was unable to open my eyes. After about two-three minutes, I managed to open my eyes and saw Goddess Dhumavati in front of me. She was wearing a smile and was blessing me. Her view was so captivating that I was even unable to blink my eyes. I was unable to open my mouth to speak out anything. All I could say was – Rupam Dehi Jayam Dehi Yasho Dehi Dwisho Jahi. The Goddess was holding a rosary in Her hand, and She threw it towards me the moment I uttered those words and disappeared.
All this continued for some four five minutes. When I gained some consciousness, I found I was still chanting the mantra, tears were flowing out of my eyes. For sure, there was that divine rosary in front of Goddess’ picture. I completed my remaining mantra chanting for the day and bowed down to Gurudev and Mother Goddess.
The moment I got up, I got a call from SadGurudev who congratulated me on my success. I was highly delighted that Gurudev was pleased on me! He further told me to keep the rosary safe and wear it on special occasions.
The next day, I wore the rosary and went out to meet all my lenders. To my surprise, all of them greeted me very kindly as if they never had any grudge towards me. They also said that they were sorry to put legal charges against me. All of them promised me that they will take back the charges against me. I also promised them that I will do my best to return their money as soon as possible.
Within a week all the charges against me were dropped. Not to mention, I started to see an exponential gain in my business. Within a matter of few months, I was able to return the money of all my lenders. This not only helped to regain my status back in the society, it also made me become a more credible person in the market. Now, everyone knows that their money is safe with me and I am a good investment for them.
All this has been possible by the grace of SadGurudev. Had He not guided me onto the path of sadhanas, my life would have been very sorrow. I as well as my entire family is indebted towards Gurudev for His love, affection and guidance that He has been providing us for all these years. Truly, Dhumavati MahaVidhya Diksha and sadhana has transformed my life and I can live with my head held high in this society again.
