When we see a waterfall, we get attracted by its beauty, our heart gets filled with joy & we feel like watching i t continuously. The waterfall flowing through the mountain, passing by lush green surroundings & having a flow like milk is really encaptivating.
This waterfall loses its beauty, its identity when it merges into a river. There is already a lot of water in the river, however this water is not as melodious as the sound of the waterfall, it is not as pure as the waterfall and surely not as captivating as the waterfall.
The river completely dissolves the water of the waterfall within itself and takes it into the ocean, a place where several rivers containing thousands of waterfalls meet. Even these rivers lose their identities, and they become a part of the ocean.
When a human being is born, the identity is like a pure waterfall, full of beauty, attraction, soothing sound and captivating. Slowly they become adult, then old and finally sleep indefinitely at the time of death.
From where does human being come?
Where do they go? If we start to think deeper about this, we will start to think about a new knowledge, a new thought process. If we look grossly, we can say a human being comes into existence due to the parents and after completing the tasks or the allocated time, the human being dies at end. After this, the human being is either burnt or buried and it is termed as an end of human life.
Even though this is correct to some level, however, it is very far from the truth. At times, a person doesn’t die even after the death. There are a few people who did something extraordinary work in their lives and are still remembered.
There are some divine beings who attained immortality! Such great personalities come to this world and fulfil their duties and then leave their body and take a rebirth in a different body. One thought provoking question is – What was in the older body that it died and what exists in this new body that keeps it alive?
We all know that soul never dies, it just leaves one body and enters into another body. As per Shrimad BhagwadGita – Vaasaansi Jeernaani Yathaa Vihaaya i.e. the way a human being changes clothes everyday, the soul too changes the body. However, all the karmas that one performed in the past lives keep accumulating and the person faces result of the karmas in the next lives.
A person gets rid of the older body and takes a new form to reap the fruits of the karmas of the previous lives. It is a bitter truth that a person keeps on taking birth and continue to face the results of the past lives deeds. If the person did good deeds, then the person takes birth as a fortunate person. Contrary to this, if the person spent the life in bad deeds, then the person must face a lot of hurdles in the new life.
It is not easy for everyone to accept the cycle of birth and death. There is no medical proof behind this believe. However, it is also a fact that where science reaches its limitations, true knowledge or spiritual knowledge starts from that point. And then a person starts to search for a true Guru in life. Not only the disciple, even the Guru also searches for the most deserving disciple.
The disciple is just like the river, whose sole aim is to meet the Guru, who is an ocean. Once the disciple meets the Guru, he completely loses his identity – his pride, his name, his prosperity, his ego and everything that comes as a hurdle in the path of getting dissolved within this ocean. When the disciple does this, the Guru absolves all the good-bad, merits or demerits of the disciple within Himself and reincarnates him. He transforms the disciple into a divine source of knowledge, one who can flourish Guru’s knowledge and guide this world onto the part of spiritual upliftment.
The Guru energized the disciple by initiating him, He calls upon disciple’s unawaken soul and tinkles his sleeping mind via His divine energy called Diksha. This “Diksha” word assimilates the infinite energy, the enormous power of the Guru. Diksha means the Guru is willing to nourish the disciple via the divine energies gained by performing sadhanas, penance and siddhis. Diksha thus means to become perfect in life, to become flawless in life, to become conscious in life and to attain everything that is lacking in the disciple’s life.
Diksha means opening the door of knowledge that has been closed since last several births. Diksha means to attain a freshness in life. Only a true and capable Guru can initiate the disciple with an appropriate Diksha that can open the doors to success, siddhis, sadhanas and takes the disciple to the heights where the Guru is Himself residing.
All that Guru wants from the disciple is to follow the path shown by Him, to perform the virtuous deeds recommended by Him, to perform the sadhanas and attain siddhis and to obtain everything that is essential for the disciple.
The way pious food and exercise is necessary for a healthy & beautiful body, the way appropriate clothing is necessary as per the weather conditions, similarly one needs to be initiated with the correct Diksha to attain success in any sadhana. It is impossible to attain success in any sadhana without getting initiated with appropriate Diksha.
Knowledge shared with an undeserving person can only lead to destruction. Thus, Guru first transforms the disciple from an unworthy to a worthy being via Dikshas. Sadhanas performed without taking Diksha can result in several types of problems. Several types of hinderances start to come in the life of such a sadhak that breaks the flow of sadhana. As a result, all the efforts one put in this task goes in vain. At times, the person might even get harmed by the evil spirits wandering around in the space.
Diksha is a flow of energy, consciousness, knowledge and penance into the disciple that enlightens him. This makes the disciple pious, and a divine aura starts to emit from his body. This aura removes all the hurdles from the life of this disciple, his vices of last several lives, his poverty, weakness and ignorance all get dissolved. Then the disciple attains peace, true joy and success in sadhanas – the real aim of human life.
Thus, Guru holds a special significance in the life of the disciple as without Guru, there can be no Diksha, without Diksha one can’t attain success in sadhanas, without success in sadhanas, a divine aura can’t emit from the body of the disciple and without this light, there can be no freshness in life.
The current era is Kaliyuga that is the era of Tantra. The biggest Tantra in this world is the cycle of life and death. Between birth and death, a human being meets lakhs of living beings and interchanges the thought process and gives a momentum to the life.
One who can understand this life can understand Tantra in true form. One needs Diksha to even understand the life in true sense. One can understand the minute details of this human life only after gaining enlightenment by means of Diksha. If you want to attain success in all the four aspects of life – Dharma, Artha, Kaam & Moksha, then you must find a true SadGuru and get initiated by Him.
